Roelof Lourens- DA Candidate

WARD 18 -Burgersfort

This advertisement was paid for by the political party involved.

In Cape Town, where the DA has governedsince 2006, we have:

• Opened tender processes and committee

meetings to the public.

• Become the best city in South Africa for

basic service delivery.

• Reduced crime through efforts of the

Metro Police.

• Doubled housing delivery.

• Increased our capital expenditure oninfrastructure to 98% of budget.

Kaap verower.

basiese dienslewering betref.

• Misdaad verminder, danksy die Metro-polisie.

• Twee keer meer huise gebou.

• Ons kapitaalbesteding aan infrastruktuur virdienslewering tot 98% verhoog.

LAAT DIT GEBEURWAAR JY WOON!

THE DA IS GROWINGAND WINNING!

In 2006, we won Cape Town and many othermunicipalities. In 2009, we won the WesternCape province. In 2011 we are going to win

more municipalities than ever before.

Your vote will help turn South Africaaround. So make sure you vote.

And vote DA.

Because we deliver for all.

MAKE IT HAPPEN WHEREYOU LIVE!

ONS LEWER DIENSTE AAN ALMAL - WE DELIVER - FOR ALL0861 22 55 32

“Our community deserves better than dry taps, no electricity, no refuse removal,a lack of roads and many of the other problems they are currently faced withwhen it comes to service delivery. They deserve the DA ESTABLISHED SER-VICES DA-run municipalities have. Vote DA for a better life.” - Roelof Lourens

Peter Burce, editor of Business Day, says: “As most ANC-run citiesbroadly subside and most DA-run ones broadly prosper, the politi-cal effect becomes a little like compound interest. You don’t noticeit at first but after a while it really begins to matter. A lot. It’s aboutdoing your job - everyone doing their jobs - properly”.

A number of Burgersfort and Lydenburg residents participated in a fundraising march inLydenburg last week Sunday to assist with humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip. Aconvoy in this regard leaves South Africa later this year and will move overland to reach theGaza Strip (north of Egypt, southwest of Israel, it is part of the Palestinian State) in the firstweek of Ramadhan. Sunday’s march started at Lydenburg Primary school and ended atRooikat park where stalls and games were the order of the day. A cake with the Palestininflag as theme was auctioned and bought by two Burgersfort businessmen for R5000. Morethan R50 000 was raised for this cause on Sunday.

Local Gaza Strip aidfundraiser a big success
