Finding Fossils - TA 9 For the last three weeks TA 9 have been learning about fossils with our pre-service teacher Miss Berich. On Wednesday 10 May 2017, TA 9 were given the opportunity to become Palaeontologists and attend the Dalmain Primary School Fossil Dig to search for fossils. All students were successful in finding fossils and recording their findings in their own fossil notebook. Some students were then selected to present their fossil findings to the class. All students were awarded their very own Palaeontologist certificate for their fantastic work throughout the three week program.

Dalmain Drumming for Health
Health Rhythms is a group-music approach that has been scientifically proven to assist our immune system, improve mood, and reduce stress and burnout.
No prior drumming or musical experience is necessary. Its proven effectiveness has been used with children and adults worldwide.
Having trained in Health Rhythms, I would love to offer the community a Tuesday evening mixed activity drumming group where community members can come together and have a stress free time
drumming. You’ll be amazed at how you become lost in the process of drumming and the days stressors melt away. Adults, teenagers and children all welcome.
I’ve worked as a childrens’ music specialist for many years with a passion for the use of drumming as a means to connect, de-stress and heal.
Regular weekly group Starting Tuesday 16 May 7.30pm - 8.30pm
