Background of the study
To reflect the new production paradigm that employs various green strategies and techniques to become eco-efficient
To performed well in minimizing and reducing the industrial wastage through applies of green production system.
The ability for a company to contribute towards a greener world thus achieve as appeal from government in green technology industry.
Research Question
How effective the application of Green Production System in
Dominant Opto Technologies to achieve
the objective of 3R.
Power & Energy Conversion Symposium PECS2012
Research Objective1. To investigate the factors which determine the implementation of Green Production System in Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn Bhd.
2. To investigate application of Green Production System in Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn Bhd to achieve the objective the 3R
3. To proposed innovation solution to overcome the weakness of GPS in enabling it’s application.

GPS
An advanced manufacturing
model to realize the sustainable development in
industries.
To prevent pollution and save
energy through the discovery and development of new knowledge manufacturing

3R
Reduce as fewer goods being
produced and less energy being used in
manufacturing process.
Involves the repeated use of
items or paths of items which still
have usable aspect.
Process of re-using a given product
(beyond its intended use), or producing a new product from a
recyclable materialPower & Energy Conversion Symposium

Bellgran (2009)
• the production system should be developed in integration with the product, as part of the overall product realization process and not in sequence after the product has already designed.
Kummel (2008)
• There are factors of Green Production System that is capital, labour and energy
Shih (2007)
• manufacturing mode designed to minimize the environmental impact in the manufacturing process of product
Theoretical Framework
Power & Energy Conversion Symposium PECS2012
• Refer to material goods and infrastructure owned, leased or controlled by an organization that contribute to production or service provision, but not become embodied in its output.
Capital
• Energy as a fundamental entity of nature that is transferred between parts of a system in the production
Energy
• Labour as the human energy and mental skills are used to produce economics goods.
Labour

qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis techniques in either parallel or sequential.
Gain the data directly in real social environments through observation, interviewing and whatever type of data gathering that make sense in that field
there are four stages of data gathering. • Initial exploratory discussion gaining by analyzed qualitative • In depth interviewing that usually conversational rather than structured• A questionnaire was designed by analyzed quantitative• Consisted of presentations to groups of employee

Research strategyCase study applied in research project
Descriptive studies to establish the accuracy profile of events, person or situations.
Provide a clear framework along the research process.
Method of Primary Data Collection
Power & Energy Conversion Symposium PECS2012
Researcher should be know how far the Green Production System achievable and how much 3R-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle implemented by DOTresearcher obtains their information by construction the questionnaire within a rich understanding of the context research and the process being enacted.
This study was conducted with mix mode method using questionnaire and distribution was targeted according to the different groups respectively
