    First Communion Date-

    Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 AM .

    We Need You!

While we are postponing the start of RE (October 16th), we are still looking for Cate-chists and Hallway monitors for the upcoming RE year. Yes, we will have some kind of gath-ered RE, but will also offer remote learning as well as our Family Faith Session that meets once a month. We need many hands to pro-vide a safe environment for all our families. Since we have to limit the number of people in the building, we will also have to significantly reduce the number of students attending RE during the Mass time. If you choose a time with Mass (grades preschool-second) you must attend Mass and follow the registration process for that Mass each week. Please contact the RE office for more info But again, we will need lots of help! You can get started by going to www.virtus.org and register for an online session of PGC.

Family Service Opportunities: Good Worx is looking for families to help tend our gardens behind the Church. If you would like to help water, and learn to harvest, please con-tact Sherry Rochford.

Questions of the Week Question for Children: What does God’s voice sound like when you pray and listen to Jesus? Question for Youth: In today’s Gospel, Peter be-gan to walk on the water when he was focused on Jesus. He began to sink when he got distract-ed by the storm. What is your life like when you are focused on Jesus and your relationship with God? How is it different when you get caught up in other things? Question for Adults: Tell about your experiences of hearing God speak in “tiny voices” rather than in the winds and earthquakes of life.

    Activity:

Have a nighttime Picnic - after sundown, make a light snack and sit outside. Ask your children what they hear. Read from the 1st Book of Kings 19:9-13. Ask your children how they think God speaks to them today.
