It is accurate and precise.

Demerits of written communication:

Time consuming.

It is costly.

Quick classification is not possible.



Oral CommunicationOral communicationincludes face to face

Communication,

Conversation overTelephones,intervies,Group discussion,

Meetings, conferenceetc.



Merits of Oral communication:It saves time and money.Speeches are more powerful.Get immediate feedback.

Useful in meeting, seminar etc.Limitations of Oral communication:

When communication into far distance.

No legal value.Greater chances of misunderstanding.



Audio Visual Communication:

Audio visualcommunication thatmakes use of telecast,

short films on thecinema screen andvideo tapes is a powerfulmedium of

communication. It is acombination of sight andsound.



COMPUTER BASED COMMUNICATION:

Computer technologyhas dramaticallychanged thelandscape of businesscommunication. It isfast prevailing and ourworld is turning into a

small village. Itindicates email, voicemail,cellular phone, faxetc.



SILENCE:Silence sometime plays avital role incommunication.

For example a boyproposes a girl. In returnshe just lowers down herface and gives a bluntsmile on her face. Themessage has beendelivered to the boywithout any word

spoken by her.



´ Silence is not a thing we make, it is something

into which we enter ,it is always there, all we canmake is noise.µ
