Dear Parents\Guardians,

I can't believe it is the end of third quarter already. I wanted to remind you

that we have two half-days this week, Thursday and Friday. I hope you enjoy

your spring break with your children and have time to spend together as a

family. Our spring break is March 16th to the 20th. Fourth quarter is crucial to

your child's success so please remind them to finish strong. I appreciate all

your support and the trust you put in us. Have a wonderful week.

PLEASE DONATE TO THE MHS L IBRARY

at Westin La Paloma Resort 8:00PM-Midnight. Tickets are currently $50/single, $90/couple

but prices will go up soon and NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Permissions slips

must be filled-out for guests, or they will not be allowed entry.

GRAD NIGHT – Seniors & Parents: You completed a Senior Grad Night 2015 ticket reservation registration form indicating your interest in attending Grade Night, May 20th, after graduation. NO payment has been received yet. If you are still interested, prices are going up from $75 to $80 after this coming Friday, March 13th. Please go to the Bookstore and get your ticket before the price goes up. Checks are payable to MHS PTO. Send your payment in an envelope labeled “SENIOR GRAD NIGHT” and include student’s first and last name on the front of the envelope. A MHS Grad Night Ticket Reservation Form has been attached for your convenience. Seniors Only!

MARANA ATHLETICS

Tiger Pride

We are in the spring athletic season with baseball, softball, tennis, track and men’s volleyball. All

programs are entrenched in the 3C’s (Culture, Commitment, and Competitiveness) at practice, on

the field, court, and on campus.

We had another great week in Athletics. All teams brought home a win this past week and are ready

to bring more success to their programs. It is exciting to see the development and improvement of

the teams across Marana Athletics in baseball, softball, tennis and volleyball.

Track and Field had their first meet which was a success. The varsity athletes attended the Queen

Creek invitational on Friday coming home with 3rd place for the girls and 6th place for the boys. Our

Tigers had some provisional qualifications and are looking very Competitive this season.

On Thursday March 12th and Friday the 13th there will be no activity busses due to Spring Break

and end of quarter half-days. Also, during Spring Break transportation for athletic practices will

not be provided. Please speak with your athlete’s coach regarding any questions about that week.
