Dear Parents/Guardians,I trust you had a great weekend. We off to a wonderful start and we are almost at progress report time. Please check your child’s grade frequently and contact the teacher with any questions or concerns. This Friday is district in-‐service day therefore your children will not be at school. In
addition, we will not have school on Monday to observe Labor Day. I hope you have a wonderful long weekend with your families.

Grad Night/PTO Meeting & ElectionsThursday, August 28th from 6:45-‐7:45pm at Wheeler Library
We hope you had all had a great summer with your family and friends. Please join us at Wheeler Abbett Taft Library on Thursday, August 28th at 6:45pm for our Virst Grad Night/PTO meeting of the new school year. The PTO part of the meeting, including elections, will be the Virst 15 minutes and the Grad Night meeting will be from 7:00-‐7:45pm. This is a great time to see what Grad Night is all about and Vind out how you can be involved. Lots of positions need to be Villed, so please consider helping out with this fun event. We hope to see you there!

First of all, TIGER PRIDE!
Marana Athletics is founded on the Culture, Commitment, and Competitive philosophy which strives to strengthen the Caring and Effective vision while teaching athletes to fulVill their commitments to their teammates, school and families to be the most competitive Tigers they can be.
This is the Virst week of ofVicial competition for some of our programs. We are looking forward to a successful season and to the Tiger Pride support of our community. Many of our programs have younger athletes who have proven to be highly competitive by earning a place on teams. Come out and show your support for our Tigers!

Guest SpeakersThe Marana HS Academies are looking for guest speakers to share experiences, advice, and information about various occupations. Academy groups will meet during Advisory on Wednesdays to hear about different careers in their areas of interest.
