MentoringOur mentoring service is part of our goal to give students the real link in a business school between the academic and professional worlds, by having a personal mentor shadow them throughout their research projects in the latter stages of the degree.

Being situated near the lake, it allows you to quickly reach all of the services, businesses and transport means. In recent years, a steady increase in the sport sector leads to a great demand for Professionals in the management of sports events, sports teams, sports federations and bodies. The program aims to respond to the growing interest in the Sports management sector.

The objective of this 3-year Bachelor program is to prepare candidates for the management and marketing of clubs and sport events.

Instruction is provided in the first two years in Geneva (Switzerland) where students are equipped with the tools of management, organization and communication skills.

Over the recent decades, Islamic banking and finance has emerged as a viable way of financial intermediation. It has gained credibility and has spread worldwide and is the preferred way of banking for one fifth of the world’s population.

Master in Islamic Finance (MSc. I.F) is a comprehensive post graduate program for people who are seeking a detailed understanding of the concepts and mechanisms of Islamic Finance.

Doctorate ofBusiness Administration

The DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) is the most common type of professional doctorate degree and is offered by GBS to students who have already gained a vast amount of knowledge in 1 or more of the 3 fields mentioned below.

It allows students to carry out extensive research and to acquire competency as an independent researcher; to design and conduct research and to disseminate the outcomes to others in the related field.

A candidate for the DBA program must have excellent results from their Masters degree in Finance or Management with an average GPA of (5.0 out of 6.0) from GBS or from an alternative accredited university.The DBA is oriented research and the applicant will be advised by a supervisor who will help in achieving his research papers.

Program ScheduleThe average duration of the DBA program varies between 3 and 5 years. A minimum of 3 major publications are required and will be assessed by the heads of the 3 centers and the panel of judges. After completion of these major publications, the student must also defend his/her reports in front of a panel of judges. Following this, the successful student will be awarded the DBA from GBS.

Step 1 (Preparation) Designed to help establish a sound foundation before the beginning of the formal study (Pre-CFA);Duration: October to December. 5 Saturday morning

Step 4 (Self review)The self study which is the most personal and final step to succeed the CFA exams.

CFA Exams Preparation

Geneva Business School (GBS) with its partner «Institut de Formation de Gestionnaire de Patrimoine» (IFGP) has already prepared candidates for CFA Exams for over 12 years.

Our mission is to provide CFA candidates with a broad array of training of the highest quality. We utilize our renowned trainer and staff resources to produce the most effective, relevant, concise, comprehensive study materials and training session on the market.

We propose an innovative, adequate and interactive academic approach with a small number of students per classes (less than 16) and study material composed by professionals, specially dedicated for the CFA exams preparation.

Step 3 (Exam preparation)A review of critical topics using old exam questions and new questions compiled by professional’s material; Duration: March to May every Tuesday, Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

CFA Program Content The duration for the course preparation is six and a half months from October to May. The courses are structured according to a four step approach:

Tuition feesPre-CFA: CHF 1950.-CFA level 1, part 1: CHF 2750.-CFA level 1, part 2: CHF 2550.-The Course material is provided free of charge to each person registered for all progams.

Step 2 (Repetition)Based on the comprehension of the Learning Outcome Statements (LOS); Duration: January to March every Tuesday, Thursday evening and Saturday morning.
