AIESEC is an international student-run organization, exist in over124 countries with 60.000 members around the world. AIESEC isfocusing on developing leadership and needed skills of itsmembers to be the change agent with global mindset. Our visionis to create peace and fulfillment of humankind potential, throughengage and develop every young person in the world.

This vision only can be achieved by creating leaders that is havingthe interest with leadership, management and world issues.Through that interest we are shaping leader not only havecompetencies, but also values. AIESEC values consist of a strongwilled statements that shaped our individuals into a globalsocially responsible leader.

AIESEC

AIESEC UNSRI itself established since 2012. At first it was an internal organization foreconomical Student. But since the organization idea to spread the range to engage moreyouth so that from after AIESEC UNSRI official as part of AIESEC in Indonesia becomeuniversity base. It’s member now not only from economical student also from anotherfaculties such as social science, science and many more.

he year was 1948 and Europe lay in ruins, this iswhen 7 European students, inspired to dosomething positive to avoid the destruction left

by the war from ever happening again, they decided totake action and founded an organization with the visionof promotion of Peace and Understanding betweencultures. Driven by their vision, they met in Belgium andfounded AIESEC. We are a global, non-political,independent,non-for-profit organization run by studentsand recent graduates of institutions of higher education.We believe with the right leadership and culturalunderstanding developed in young people, we eill beable to achieve our vision. oGCDP stands for Outgoing Exchange Global Community Development Program. oGCDP enables young people to develop their leadership and entrepreneur skill by doing real act and participating in socio project. The time for doing the project is about 4-6 weeks.

Job Description1 Trainees will be working as a language teachers(English) for the students of the academy.

Job Description2 Trainees will help the students increase their English pronouncation and writings and enrich

their knowledge with vocabularies.

Job Description3 Trainees will conduct conversational classes with the students and improve the

communication spirit among the students.

The working hours depends on the classes times,which mostly starts afternoon from 2.00PM

till 8.00PM,but there's a schedule for all the classes and it's times,it'll be granted to the intern

after selection and he has to choose between them with coordination with the NGO and the

TN manager.

Job Description1 Red Wings Project aims at producing care in different communities in Shanghai. Trainees will participate in various events and

lessons about cultures to improve the living quality of residents, especially the elderly and the children .You will have a chance to

interact with local people and see the real life Chinese live. Courses about Chinese cultureare provided.

Job Description2 Trainees are supposed to deliver English classes to both elderly and children in the communities by giving lessons, salons, lectures,

games to know the different language and culture.

Job Description3 We will provide some teaching training for EPs. Chinese culture related courses, including calligraphy etc. will be provided for free.

You can gain a better understanding of Chinese culture.

Job Description4 Trainees are supposed to design and delivery English lessons and salons about culture differences or topics they like to have a deep

interaction with different local residents.

Job Description5 Trainees are required to take ten photos about your understanding of the impact of the Project,sending to project manager before

leaving. Photos'll be promoted by media publicity.

Job Description6 We will provide allowance for working. But, trainees have to pay the accommodation, 1700~2800 CNY per month, which mainly

depends on the type you choose. And your own meals, about 40-80 CNY per day.

About Sawasdee Thailand National ProjectPoverty is a major issue in Thailand. It leads to low opportunities forthe students to get adequate education. Education is the way tochange a country and offer more opportunities to young people todevelop themselves. Many of them are experiencing Englishilliteracy. However, the world is rapidly changing which createscompetitive atmosphere among the youth to posses highcompetencies. One of the example is the emerging of ASEANEconomic Community 2015 which will be the moment of Free TradeLabor among the people in South East Asia. Therefore, SawasdeeThailand is designed to provide English Education and CulturalExchange experience to students and people in rural areas aroundThailand. On the last edition of the project we created an impacteducating over 20 000 students from over 65 schools in 5 regions ofThailand and now we are aiming an even bigger impact. This projectis aimed to be the platform for the students to be encouraged tospeak English through the creative and fun activities.

Job DescriptionDepartment the intern will be working English Department in School

Job Description1 Creating standard teaching materials and activities for 7-18 years old students. All the schools are in the RURAL area where they have

small chance to learn English properly with limited teaching materials, therefore this is a chance for you to bring an impact using your

creativity and problem-solving skills. All interns will teach English base on Thai Learning by doing and think outside the box.

Job Description2 Teaching Basic English using attractive themes to create fun English learning environment in the school, such as:Sport, Music, Culture,

Cartoon, or Food week. Teach English to Thai teachers once/week.

Job Description3 Providing opportunities to students, teachers, and local people to experience your home culture. Training the students and local people

to create handicraft from your own country-showcase your culture

Job Description4 Becoming an Ambassador of your country and have a chance to represent it during your teaching activities, English Day, our Global

Village and other cultural activities- must bring traditional souvenir

Job Description5 IS MANDATORY TO ATTEND all AIESEC Activities during project, such as: Preparation Camp, Evaluation Day, and English day +

Global Village. Participate in the evaluation report of the project & fill NPS

Job Description6 Live and Learn with Local people and Host families about Thai culture: Dances, Music, Language, Cooking, Heritage sites, Sports,

Games, and Handicrafts.

Measurable results expected from the intern Positive feedback from students and schools about the English teaching activities interns organize. Tracking the education cycle of the

students by following the Learn By Doing Curriculum presented in the Preparation Camp. Filling the report after each step is completed.

Strong personal connection with students, host family, AIESECers, and local people - measured by the retention rate of the schools and

host families supporting our project. Improvement of students’ skills to speak English. Filling the NPS survey 2 times during their

experience in Thailand.

Preparation required from the intern before arrival The interns must prepare their lessons and the students activities materials, such as: presentation, games, and other necessary

materials. Interns should prepare country information, cultural performance, and other cultural items (souvenirs, snacks, costumes, and

other ethnic stuff) to showcase during the cultural presentation in their classes and for Global Village. All intern MUST read and

UNDERSTAND all the information, documents,and booklet[s] provided by the ICX team or/and Organizing committee team. Interns are

expected to apply visa as suggested by the home LC/country to avoid any future troubles. Interns are responsible for their own Visa

Application and Extension, including health/travelling insurance and etc.Health insurance prearrival is MANDATORY. Also, we

encourage you to read the National Reception Wiki and Reception Booklet for your personal internship preparation. IMPORTANT:

Regulation regarding the breakmatch - if the break-match is realized later than 3 weeks before the realization date and puts in danger

the continuity of the project without any valid reason - the intern will be charged 100 USD damage fee. All interns will sign the documents

in which they take responsibility for this issue.

Other Details of the Working Conditions Being dynamic, innovative, enthusiastic, openminded, and flexible in delivering English teaching materials. Remember, the students

and local people barely speak English, but they are passionate to learn so the intern should prepare interesting way to encourage

them to interact in English. Interns should be able to work as individual and team. They should be ready to adapt in the difficult

situation because students and teachers may or may not speak English. We will provide Thai cultural preparation for every intern in

the Preparation Camp days and provide with a trainee-buddy who will assist and track the interns via phone or social network. The

interns must bring their own personal laptop and they should expect to acquire their own internet service since in the rural area not

all host families or schools can provide with internet connection.

internship

Interns will be expected to achieve cross-cultural understanding, culture shock management, working with people from diverse

background, ability to live and work under-pressure and dynamic circumstance during the project. The interns will possibly improve

their presentation and facilitation skills. Interns will be cultural and educational ambassadors to their own countries. Living with the

for the Internship: All applicants are required to upload their presentation VIDEO for 3-5 minutes on Youtube and paste the link in

lifestyle, personality, hobby, etc.. All interns are required to participate for whole project and the starting date is mandatory. The

certificate will not be issued to the interns who do not participate for whole project without any confirmation and agreement. All

Job DescriptionDepartment the intern will be working Academic, Marketing

Job Description1 - Build the organization’s webpage in English based on their original Vietnamese version, in a way that it would be informative, and

attractive for donations. - Your work will be reviewed and given feedbacks from your supervisors in the organization, and also, from

AIESEC RMIT, in order to ensure your fairness.

Job Description2 - Doing research about online marketing methods, how it could be applied to the organization’s current situation, and making

reports on your research.

Job Description3 - Build and develop the organization’s Facebook Page, creating online activities to push likes and attract donations.

Job Description4 - Involving in the charitable programs of the organisation, taking pictures, writing articles, and posting to the organization’s webpage

and FB page, in order to promote for the program.

Job Description5 - Organising Online and Offline fund-raising activities. - Creating strategies or campaigns to push up the fund, attracting donations.

Job Description6 - Actively participate in LC activities: orientation day, training, promotion activities, events related to exchange, etc. − Fill in AIESEC

GCDP Feedback Survey. − Provide feedback.

Measurable results expected from the intern − The English version of the organization’s webpage is fully built and developed. − The organization’s FB Page is built, with a base

of 200-400 likes after 2 months. − Successfully organize fund-raising activities (online and offline) with donations ranging from 5 –

10 millions in 2 months. − Satisfaction level of TN taker.

Preparation required from the intern before arrival − Intern required to bring laptop, books and other materials related to their culture to share with children, teachers and AIESEC

members. − Attend on-line preparation about Vietnam. − Fill in first AIESEC Global Community Development Program Feedback

Survey that will be sent to your e-mail not later than 2 week after match. − Obtain valid medical insurance for the total period of the

internship.

− In order to participate in the project, Native English is required. Trainee should arrive with a valid medical insurance for the total

period of the internship. Trainee is obliged to arrive in Vietnam at least one day before the Project starts. − Below you can find the

Step 6 : Experience abroad.You are on your way! During your stay abroad, stay in touch with yourcoach from AIESEC in your city in case you need help or support of anykind.

Step 7 : Reintegration.At the end of your internship abroad, we will guide you in recappingthe key learning points of the entire experience, help you deal withreverse culture shock and provide you with a platform to share yourexperience.
