XIII NO. 2 The National Industrial Security Academy is the premier training institution of CISF in Industrial Security and Disaster Management. It is engaged in organizing basic induction training and other in-service and specialized courses for officers and personnel of CISF and specialized courses for state police officers and corporate executives. The mission of the Academy is to develop professionals imbibed with highest standards of physical and mental fitness, in-depth knowledge and skills pertaining to industrial & critical infrastructure security, aviation security, disaster management and positive attitude characterized by discipline, integrity, courage and responsiveness. Narasimhan, Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh along with Shri N R Das, IPS, DG CISF reviewing Parade A colourful Ceremonial Parade was held on 15 th April 2011 on the occasion of the Passing Out Parade of 25 th Batch of Assistant Commandants and 35 th Batch of Sub-Inspectors/ Executive at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA). His Excellency the Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sh. E.S.L. Narasimhan was the Chief Guest and reviewed the Parade. The other dignitaries at the parade included Sh N.R. Das, IPS, Director General CISF, Sh. Rajeev Mathur, Director, National Police Academy and other distinguished guests. In his address, His Excellency Sh. E.S.L. Narasimhan, called upon the Officers to prepare themselves to effectively meet the emerging challenges posed by new forms of terrorism and militancy. He stressed upon the growing role of CISF in the changing security scenario, particularly in key areas like Dis- aster Management, VIP Security, Govt. Building Security and Aviation Security. The Chief Guest commended the impressive standard of parade and congratulated the Academy staff for their role in training the offi- cers. Earlier in his welcome address Shri N R Das, DG CISF extended his welcome to the first lady Mrs Vimala Narasimhan and His Excellency Governor of Andhra Pradesh on behalf of entire CISF Family. He stated that CISF has been evolved into a high professional, dynamic and multi dimensional force lending its expertise to critical sectors of the Indian economy. He concluded his speech wishing the trainees for their bright and excellent future.
