ESSAY :
1. A star telescope has objective focal lens lenght 2,4 m and eyepiece focal lens lenght 6
cm for seeing observes a thing without accomodation. How much the magnifying of
the star telescope ?
Answer :
Not accomodating eyes :
Ma = Fob : Fok
= 240 : 6
= 40 times
2. A vessel has the volume 2 litre at temperature 50°C. If vessels have the cooficient of
linear expansion 2 x / °C. Determine the volume of the vessel at temperature
75°C is..
Answer :
We have ᵞ = 3α = 6 x / °C
At = 75°C - 50°C = 25°C
V0 = 2 litre
And so,
Vt = V0 (1 + ᵞ At)
Vt = 2 (1 + 0,00006 x 25)
Vt = 2 (1 + 0,0015)
So, we get Vt = 2,003 Litre
