The foundations of the science of ergonomics appear to have been laid within the context of the culture of Ancient Greece. Outside of the discipline itself, the term 'ergonomics' is generally used to refer to physical ergonomics as it relates to the workplace (as in for example ergonomic chairs and keyboards ).Some factories have made their own design to be available for ergonomics in the enviroment. Nowadays, used scissors, car seats (multi-directional movements), steering wheels, etc..examples of ergonomic improvements. More importantly is employee productivity, not product. Measure of workplaces and peoples have been setted according to ergonomics. So there is a lot of choices the context of measures. For this , some factories use German standarts DIN 33406. Another measure is the working heights. Working heights should be adjusted according to heart level. Because during operation, if heights higher than heart level , the blood flow slows down. The heights must be below the heart level. Another important thing is lighting. Eye health is an important factor for the efficiency of working. Lighting affects our eyes. So the lighting should be set according to employee. To sum up, today, ergonomics is more important for every working areas. Conditions, that are not suitable for ergonomics at working areas, should be assessed and destroyed. Finally, how much importance is given to ergonomics in working areas, the greater the operating efficiency.
