Informal Presentation

• You are interviewing for a “team” internship for your client (a team of 3 interns).

• Provide at least 2 – 3 compelling reasons (per team member) why your client needs your skills/expertise (what benefit hiring you is to them) – expound with examples or details.

• First team member introduces all and says what the presentation is about.

• Last team member summarizes as to why the client should hire your team.

Draft Plan Elements

• Situation analysis including challenge/opportunity, background, key points, best practice research, compelling reason for a strategic pr plan

• Research process, results and analysis (and what’s ongoing)

• Goal (as vision)

• Target Audiences (fully describe, including anything discovered in research)

• Objective(s) for each audience (to do what to whom for what purpose). State a theory and model for each objective.

• State key challenge or opportunity, using what’s known from situation analysis and best practices research.

• Research – what you’ve done and what you’ve found out.

• Description of target audiences, taking into account research

• Goal (as a vision).

• Key objectives & recommendations of draft plan, per audience

• Proposed evaluation measures and follow up

• 20 to 30 minutes

• Propose meeting with client right away to discuss implementation plan
