Big college health check

Through research of the college health check it was clear that my target audience had did not suffer from any serious long term condition or disability however the audience research I conducted also made it clear that the students lacked knowledge of mental health conditions.

Gender:• Not just one specific gender to target•Need to find a way of attracting all genders• All genders have different likes and dislikes!

Sexuality:• Must ensure not to offend any sexuality or make my campaign gender specific.

Education:•As I am targeting a variety of people from the same educational status.

The large title attracts the reader and stands out due to the large text and different use of colour. Instantly know what the type of content will be.

Strong image takes up large ratio of the page, suggests the image reflects on the type of reader.

Use of three colour scheme (black, blue and red). Highlights key with using a different colour from the scheme.

Short, snappy use of text gets straight to the point.

Includes fashionable bargains which is suitable for the age of the reader

Large title to attract the audience. The colour of the title changes with each issue of the magazine in order to keep with the colour scheme

This is the first product within my campaign-a bus stop poster.

Distribution:It costs £120 per week to hire a bus stop, and I will be hiring them for 4 months.

Removing barriers...Aim – I aim to remove all barriers about my chosen aspect

(mental health) in order to raise awareness of the subject, as well as of the college facilities.

Interest – Through creating this campaign I hope that my target audience become interested in the subjects raised, consequently using the services and understanding the issue of mental health.

Desire – I hope that this campaign will make the college students WANT to learn more about mental health and WANT to access the facilities.

Action – This campaign will give students the confidence to attend the services when they need them instead of shying away from them.
