GENERAL PURPORT OR EFFECT OF THE ABOVEMENTIONED STATUTORY RULES

(1) Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Amendment Order 2016

This order amends the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Order 2009 by –(a) omitting the Shannon Clyde Water Company Ltd. (ACN 132 740 437) from the list of bodies corporate under the

Corporations Act to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply; and

(b) omitting certain councils from the list of water entities to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply; and

(c) declaring the River Clyde Trust to be a water entity to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply.
