GENERAL PURPORT OR EFFECT OF THE ABOVEMENTIONED STATUTORY RULES

(1) Administrative Arrangements Order 2015

This order –

(a) assigns to Ministers of the Crown the administration of Government departments, parts of departments and State authorities and Acts, or parts of Acts or subject matter of Acts, and other instruments of a legislative character; and

(b) specifies which Government department, part of department or State authority is responsible to a Minister in relation to the administration of those Acts or parts of Acts or that subject matter and other instruments.

(2) Disability Services Regulations 2015

These regulations prescribe the standards that a funded disability services provider is required to meet under the Disability Services Act 2011.

(3) Forensic Procedures Amendment Regulations 2015

These regulations amend the Forensic Procedures Regulations 2010 by updating the reference to the corresponding law of the Northern Territory.

(4) Health Complaints Regulations 2015

These regulations –

(a) prescribe the form of a warrant for the purposes of the Health Complaints Act 1995; and

(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Health Complaints Regulations 2005 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992.

(5) Proclamation under section 2 of the Interstate Transfers (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2013

This proclamation fixes 1 May 2015 as the day on which the provisions of the Interstate Transfers (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2013 commence.

(6) Misuse of Drugs Order 2015

This order amends the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001 by –

(a) removing certain superseded references from the list of controlled drugs; and

(b) adding certain substances to the list of controlled drugs; and

(c) correcting certain references on the list of controlled drugs.

(7) Residential Tenancy Regulations 2015

These regulations make provision in respect of –

(a) deposit contributors for the purposes of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997; and

(b) the sale of abandoned goods; and

(c) infringement notices; and

(d) the exclusion of certain agreements and premises from the application of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997; and

(e) the procedure that applies on the termination of a not-for-profit residential tenancy agreement and a TUU residential tenancy agreement; and

(f) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Residential Tenancy Regulations 2005 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992.

(8) Retirement Villages Regulations 2015

These regulations –

(a) prescribe the fees payable for certain applications made under the Retirement Villages Act 2004; and

(b) prescribe the minimum amount of public liability insurance required for a retirement village; and

(c) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Retirement Villages Regulations 2005 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992.

(9) Tasmanian Health Organisations (Tasmanian Health Service) Order 2015

This order, made under the Tasmanian Health Organisations Act 2011, amalgamates Tasmanian Health Organisation – South and Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West into Tasmanian Health Organisation – North to form one Tasmanian Health Organisation named the Tasmanian Health Service and for that purpose transfers certain assets to the Tasmanian Health Service and makes various amendments to Schedules 1 and 2 to the Tasmanian Health Organisations Act 2011.

(10) State Service (Restructuring) Order 2015

This order changes the name of Tasmanian Health Organisation – North to Tasmanian Health Service and amalgamates Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West, and Tasmanian Health Organisation – South with the Tasmanian Health Service.

(11) State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2015

This order omits Schedule 1 to the State Service Act 2000, which specifies the Agencies and Heads of Agencies, and substitutes a new Schedule 1.

(12) Financial Management and Audit Order 2015

This order omits Schedule 1 to the Financial Management and Audit Act 1990, which specifies offices of Government departments and the titles or other descriptions of such offices, and substitutes a new Schedule 1.

(13) Shop Trading Hours (Anzac Day) Order 2015

This order provides that certain shops may be kept open before 12:30 p.m. on Anzac Day 2015.
