2014-2015 Quota Period

I, BRYAN ALEXANDER GREEN, Minister administering the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995, pursuant to Section 94 (2)(b) and (c) of that Act, for the quota period from 1 March 2014 to 28 February 2015, hereby;

1. Determine the area of State waters adjacent to the east coast of Tasmania bounded in the north on the east coast by the line of latitude at 41º 16’ 30” South running due east of St Helens Point and bounded in the south on the south east coast by the line of latitude at 43º 21’00” running due east of Penguin Island ( Bruny Island), excluding the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and the River Derwent, to be the east coast catch-cap area; and

2. Determine that the portion of the total allowable commercial catch to be taken from the east coast catch-cap area is 119 tonnes.

Expressions used in this Public Notice have the same meaning as in the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 and the Fisheries (Rock Lobster) Rules 2011.

This order amends the Poisons (Declared Restricted Substances) Order 1990 by adding follistatin, insulin-like growth factors and selective androgen receptor modulators as substances to which section 36 of the Poisons Act 1971 applies.

(6) Poisons (Prescribed Periods) Amendment Order 2014

This order amends the Poisons (Prescribed Periods) Order 2009 by declaring two additional narcotic substances that may not be made available for continuous use by a person without an authority given under section 59E of the Poisons Act 1971.

(7) State Service (Restructuring) Order 2014

This order effects a restructuring of the State Service by amalgamating part of a Government department with another Government department.
