IS EYE CHECK UP
NECESSARY FOR
CHILDREN?
Eye is the window for the brain.
Good vision plays an important role
in development of brain. So Eye
checkup becomes important forchildren above 5 years.
When should the parent take
the child to an eye doctor?
1. Child has got difficulty in see-
ing blackboard.
2. When child goes very near
the TV for viewing
3. Is refractive error hereditary? If parents are using
glasses, there is a higher incidence of children having refrac-
tive error.

Walk! Walk!, Walk and Walk!!
For your youthful vitality
Walking is one of the most gentle and
universal way of staying in health.
There is more joy and benefits in walk-
ing. Every step you take will count in mak-
ing you fit. Walking is easy, inexpensive
and enjoyable.
Walking strengthens the muscles,
stimulates the brain, controls the weight,
conditions the heart, activates the lungs
and strengthens the bones. American Col-
lege of Sports Medicine (ACSM) suggests to make full use of your two
personal doctors, the right leg and the left leg, free of cost.
A new research study has revealed that brisk walking can lower
your risk of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Walking is pana-
cea (cure all) for all diseases. Walking is a medicine for diabetes, cold,
stress, strain and stiffness of body and mind. 30 minutes of walking
with 3300 steps (110 steps per minute) will give a good nights sleep. A
good nights sleep is the top most little pleasure of the 21st century.
A good nights sleep is a free medicine. Night walk is advised be-
cause it helps to digest food and induce sleep. Dr. Henry David, a
sports medicine specialist states that an early morning walk is a bless-
ing for the whole day.Everybody knows how to walk;
Do we know the best way to walk?
