Unilever Food Solutions chooses Emakina as global strategic digital partner
Rotterdam, 7 April 2014 – Unilever Food Solutions appoints Emakina as its global strategic digital partner for the next years. The contract was awarded to Emakina after a challenging competition between three agencies. Emakina received high marks for its strategic insights, creative input and technical capabilities. Other major positive factors were project management know-‐how and the power to master a global roll out. The collaboration will start right away and encompasses 60 countries, structured in 22 multi-‐country organizations.
Unilever Food Solutions, global market leader in dedicated food services Unilever Food Solutions was created in 2001, following the acquisition of Bestfoods. It holds leading positions in bouillons/bases, seasonings, sauces, soups, dressings, teas and desserts. The company is a global market leader, with 4,700 people of which 500 chefs. They manage activities in 60+ countries, catering to hotels, restaurants, canteens, specialized wholesalers and cash & carry outlets.
Strengthening global digital reach The scope of the collaboration will be broad. It will include strategy, a digital plan, creative plan, tools and procedures, analytics, CRM consulting, a ‘relaunch’ of the website and mobile developments. The team will manage adapted online access and coaching for all markets, to produce internationally streamlined yet localized web presences across the globe.
