Preface

Greeting in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This booklet has been compiled as a tool to help pastors, ministers and lay workers in the preparation of messages from the Scriptures. It was put together to help equip the disciple of Christ for growth and service. It has also become the template for 8 different languages and parts of it will become the appendix of a Theological Dictionary for these different language groups (6 are of the Jinghpaw family, plus it will be translated into Burmese, Thai, Telugu and Naga).

Materials have been gathered from a variety of resources and from different people groups. In many instances the source of the material could not be determined and over time, information has been added to or deleted from the various original materials. All one can say is thank you to the body of Christ and to the many disciples who over time have given to us so many valuable materials. We know this information will cause many of the Asian believers of Christ to come to a place of full maturity.

It is our hope and prayer that this booklet will be a beginning point for all other people groups to be challenged to go out and prepare more materials in their own languages so that church members will grow to a place where they will produce fruit that will last for God's Glory. May God give us all much wisdom and understanding as we commit to serving the Body of Christ.

In the beginning God Created:

2. Ten Commandments

And God spake all these words, saying,

I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain. 4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
