autobiographical comics, mining the mundane for magic since 1976 in his
critically acclaimed series American Splendor.
Harvey Pekar’s Cleveland is sadly one of his last, but happily one of his most
definitive graphic novels. It presents key moments and characters from the
city’s history, intertwined with Harvey’s own ups and downs, as relayed to us
by Our Man and meticulously researched and rendered by artist Joseph
Remnant. At once a history of Cleveland and a portrait of Harvey, it’s a tribute
to the ordinary greatness of both.

Alan Moore!

Award-winning graphic novelist Eddie Campbell (Alec, From Hell)
presents a dizzying autobiographical investigation into MONEY. It’s a voyage that takes him all the way from the imaginary wealth of Ponzi
schemes to the all-too-tangible stone currency of the Micronesian island
of Yap. With his trademark blend of research, anecdote, autobiography, and fantasy, Campbell explores how money underwrites human
relationships, flowing all around us like the air we breathe -- or the water
we drown in.
Campbell’s wry eye and vivid full-color artwork imbue the proceedings
with real humanity, making The Lovely Horrible Stuff an investment that’s
worth every penny.
The magnum opus of a master cartoonist.

It's the long-awaited return of James Kochalka's massively
influential and deceptively ambitious autobiography, American Elf. Every day of his life is captured in a single comic strip,
sometimes profound and sometimes silly, but always full of the
earnest Kochalka passion that led Hi-Fructose to call him "an unrelenting force, sure to solve the oncoming energy crisis,"
and earned him the title of Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont.
In this collection, spanning the years 2008-2011, James becomes Cartoonist Laureate, celebrates American Elf's 10th year,
pitches a TV show to Hollywood, releases a GameBoy album, travels to France, creates his own video game, considers quitting the strip, plays everything from Lego Star Wars to Skyrim, digs deeper into his psyche, and kind of causes himself to
have a nervous breakdown. Meanwhile, Eli starts elementary school — and a band, Oliver learns to walk and talk (and sing),
James & Amy celebrate 15 years of marriage, and the family adopts a new cat, Nooko!

Sweet Tooth so phenomenally popular.

Blue is the debut graphic novel of
Australian cartoonist Pat Grant.
It’s a fascinating blend of
autobiography and fiction, with a sci-fi twist. In a seaside
Australian town struggling with
alien tentacle-creature
immigration, a trio of aimless teenagers skip school to go
surfing, chase rumors of a dead
body, and avoid dealing with their own fears.
―Pat Grant is the Australian Mark Twain… A sea-polished, perfect nugget of a book.‖
— Craig Thompson, author of Blankets, Carnet de Voyage, and Habibi
―Pat Grant is serious about comics.‖
— Scott McCloud, author of Understanding Comics, Reinventing Comics,
and Making Comics
―An affecting coming-of-age graphic memoir.‖
— Paul Gravett, author of Graphic Novels: Stories to Change Your Life
―Blue is everything a good comic can be.‖
— Shaun Tan, author of The Arrival and Tales from Outer Suburbia
―Complex and beautiful... an uncommonly sophisticated look at prejudice and localism.‖ — Andy Khouri, ComicsAlliance
―While this graphic novel is strongly rooted in its Australian setting, the thorny questions of
cultural identity, assimilation, and inexorable change are applicable to any place that sets up
divides between people. So, to everywhere.‖
— Ian Chipman, Booklist
