The Federation also advocates for adequate government funding to keep our excellent schools affordable. By becoming a Federation Ambassador, they have agreed to: to promote the role of the Federation to you, and liaise with our school to ensure information I receive from the Federation is passed on to you via our school’s usual communication channels. Last Tuesday, 24th May we had a very successful feast day beginning with Mass. We enjoyed yummy cake for recess and sausages for lunch. We also had lots of fun in our sports teams doing a variety of activities. A big

thankyou to our BBQ workers and our Mums who delivered the food. Your help was greatly appreciated. National Reconciliation Week This week all children have been involved in activities in their classes centred around Indigenous Studies. At community prayer we celebrated our heritage and some of our indigenous students were involved in reading the prayers. Regards and blessings, Cathy Tilley APRIM

Stella Maris LEGENDS Concert

60th Anniversary Celebration This year’s concert shall be held on Friday, June 24, at the Christian Family Centre, 185 Frederick Rd, Seaton. There will be a matinee (12:00 noon) and an evening performance (7:00pm). All children will be bussed to and from the venue for the matinee performance, with school concluding at the normal time. For the evening performance, students simply come along and leave with their parents/caregivers.

There are plenty of seats available at the venue so there will be no restrictions on the number of tickets families can purchase and seating will be general admission.

The cost of tickets is $10 for the matinee and $15 for the evening performance. Stella Maris students do not require a ticket! You do not need to purchase tickets for children under 3 years of age who will be sitting on your lap. Children 3 and over will need a ticket and a seat.

There is a ticket and DVD order form on page 5 of this newsletter. Order forms are also available from the office or can be downloaded from our website.
