“WITHOUT A SENSE OF CARING, THERE CAN BE NO SENSE OF COMMUNITY.”

ANTHONY J. D’ANGELO

How sweet is this note (along with some chocolate goodness) which was left by a resident for one of our Collinsville housekeepers?

The random acts of kindness didn’t stop there, as we received this note from one of our residents in the West.

“I have been at Solomon site for approx. 10 months and have resided in Dally Camp and now in Kangi Camp. All mine sites have their ups and downs and we have had both here but I would like to highlight one point which has put a big smile on my face! We spend more time in these camps, than we do with our own families. I came home from work last night to be very pleasantly surprised by “The Easter Bunny” having hopped into my room ! I am a very old big kid and to see the “droppings” made me feel like my two beautiful daughters had popped in and gone again ! They always have a habit of doing that even though they are now 35 and 33 !! A small gesture on someone’s behalf was very much appreciated. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned, silly point I know but praise worthy !!”

You never know how big of an impact just a small gesture of caring can have in someone’s day or even life.

Have you showed someone you care today?

MORRIS VISION & VALUES

Last month the renewed Morris Vision and Values were announced. The Chichester Hub in Western Australia saw the first formal communication on the values, where Fiona Berkin (CEO - pictured left) and Hamish Cook (Executive General Manager WSB) lead the discussions which were followed by a team BBQ.

By the end of June, all Morris sites would have been visited by Fiona and/or a member of the Executive Leadership Team to discuss the values with you.
