TWENTY SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

“ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS”

Marine Corps League Rose Program

In 1778, during the War of Independence, the Marine Corps Rose was dedicated to those Marines who made the ulti-mate sacrifice for their country. This tradition was contin-ued by the French during World War One when the Marines attacked the Germans in the Trenches at Beleau Wood. Roses were planted by the grateful French people at the graves of the fallen Marines. When and where ever you see Marine Corps League members distributing these re-membrances take and wear one proudly.

MCL Staten Island Detachment 246 has donated $300 in appreciation for Holy Child’s participation.

What if our desires are more important than we thought?

Join best-selling author Christopher West as he explores the ancient but forgotten truth that our deepest desires of body and soul are meant to lead us to the infinite, to God.

DESIRE - Discover why as human beings we feel this universal “ache” for something more.

DESIGN - Learn what the very design of our bodies as male and female tells us about God.

DESTINY - Find out how we are created for bliss and why our hearts know this somehow.
