THE RECTORY DESK

I wish to thank Donna Ottomanelli for contacting me in ad-vance of the feast day of St. Anthony asking permission to provide for the traditional distribution of St. Anthony’s Bread.

Donna generously offered to procure the bread and to dis-tribute it personally during the course of the feast day cele-bration.

I applaud her foresight, her respectful consideration and her pro-active stance which led her to follow through on this beloved practice.

This is an example of just how parishioners can take owner-ship of allied activities which they find inspirational, exercis-ing themselves in the parish with pride and joy.
