Religious Education Program Report
Children and parents, parishioners and guests gathered in the school on Sunday, December 2, 2018 for our parish Family Catechesis. We began with the 12:30 p.m. Mass in the Church and proceeded to the school for a delicious hot lunch, fellowship and a movie. The theme was “Mary says yes!” A short excerpt of the movie, “Mary of Nazareth” was shown to the adults while the children made Christmas ornaments in their classroom and practiced their own rendition of the Christmas story. The children were in costume and studied the script diligently. Their innocence entertained us while they freely expressed themselves. After their short rendition, dessert was enjoyed by all. Our next Family Catechesis will take place on Sunday, March 31, 2019 in the school building after the 12:30 p.m. Mass.
