Fifteen years ago our nation was brutally attacked by an enemy. The effects of that assault perdure to this very day. Lest we forget that momentous day on which many of our own parishioners perished along with all others who died and all those whose lives were ruined by it, Holy Child will render a special 15th anniversary salute during the course of a
Mass at 11 o’clock Sunday 11 September 2016
All are welcome to attend and participate in this spe-cial program set in the context of God and Country.

LINES and the BOTTOM LINE
One cannot fail to have noticed the cosmetic attention the parking lot has just received.
After 3½ years under the weather and traffic, the lines and letters were naturally fading
away. Amazing what a little paint can do for a complexion!
Not so easily enhanced are our sidewalks which have noticeably corroded. We have been
working diligently to identify the genesis of this problem with guidance provided by the
Archdiocese. In due course, we expect concrete solutions that will leave us with solid
walkways that will hold up throughout the years.
The Parking Lot Envelopes have really helped to bring down the original loan which was
$590,000.00.
With determined efforts to reduce the principal, we have avoided undue interest charges.
We should be proud that the loan balance now stands at $37,500.00.
It should not be long before we can take pride in its total satisfaction.
Fr. Travers
