November 18th 2011 at the Cipriani on 55 Wall Street, New York. We cordially invite you to be among the 600 attendees in this landmark event in the CGCC's

history. During the event, we will honor Chairman of C.V. Starr & Co., Mr. Maurice Greenberg; Former Vice Minister of Commerce of China, Ms. Ma Xiuhong;

Chairman of China Ocean Shipping Company, Mr. Wei Jiafu and other distinguished persons from both U.S. and China for their extraordinary and consistent

contribution to developing the relations between these two great countries. We will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bank of Communications New York

Branch.

The event consists of Gala Dinner, Seminar and the Celebration Lunch with its theme of “Win-Win Cooperation” on U.S. – China business development.

During the Lunch time we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bank of Communications New York Branch. The New York Branch of Bank of

Communications was established on November 18, 1991 and has achieved tremendous success in U.S. market. The Chairman of Bank of Communications

Mr. Hu Huaibang will deliver a keynote speech to VIP attendees.

The afternoon Seminar on the topic "Chinese Enterprises in the United States", features panel discussions with notable Chinese entrepreneurs and businessmen,

Chinese and US officials, and academic scholars, who will share their opinions on the current business environment as well as the challenges and opportunities

facing Chinese businesses operating in the U.S. The gala dinner afterwards will feature an awards ceremony for outstanding individuals who have contributed to the

development of U.S. – China relationships, as well as Chinese enterprises in the U.S. who have achieved extraordinary success. The diner will also be accompanied

by music provided by the Manhattan Symphonie Orchestra.

This Gala represents a forum for the key players in U.S. – China business, and will provide significant source of support for the China General Chamber of

Commerce – U.S.A., the only non-profit, non-governmental organization serving Chinese businesses in the U.S. Since its founding in 2005, the Chamber

has grown to six chapters in Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and represented over 1,300 Chinese business

enterprises in the United States. The Chamber's members range from the large, state-owned Chinese enterprises and their U.S. subsidiaries, to the small

and mid-size Chinese businesses operating in the U.S. The Chamber's members further form six Special Committees based on industry sector: Financial,

Transportation and Logistics, Trade, Information Technology, Energy and Chemical Industry, and Automotive, thus providing a platform for all businesses

of all industries and sizes.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing. Substitutions may be made at anytime without charge. Cancellations received after Nov. 11, 2011 are subject to a $50 fee.

There is an additional $20 handling fee for all returned checks. No refunds will be given after Nov. 17, 2011. Refunds will be issued after the conference date.

profit organization headquartered in Washington D.C. to unite all Chinese

enterprises’ business chambers, associations and federations registered in

United States of America.

The mission of CGCC is to provide services to Chinese enterprises registered

in USA, protect their legitimate rights, promote economic and trade

relations, communications among Chinese and the American business

entities, and to perform the function as the vital bridge link between China

and the U.S.A.

The focus of the CGCC includes:

1. Strengthen the communication and cooperation among Chinese

enterprises in U.S.A. through website, publication, seminar, symposium and

many other means to share the best practice and resources. Provide

members with consulting services and legal services.

2. Strengthen communications with the U.S. government and business

communities to express Chinese companies’ expectations and requests,

negotiate economic and business related issues on behalf of members to

protect their legitimate rights. Sponsor and organize functions to promote

Chinese businesses’ communications with the U.S. government and business

community.

3. Strengthen the link among Chinese government, chamber of commerce and

business entities. Introduce business investment environment and related

legal issues. Provide services to help member development in the U.S.A.

Established in September 2005 as not-for-profit business association for

Chinese enterprises incorporated or registered in the United States, China

General Chamber of Commerce – U.S.A. serves to meet the growing needs of

its membership through a broad spectrum of initiatives.

Governed by a board of directors, the CGCC counts among its members not

only the largest companies in such segment of the Chinese economy as

transportation, banking, construction, energy, telecommunications and

manufacturing but also many smaller entities, such as trading firms that may

have only a few employees.

Membership in the CGCC brings a host of benefits to business both large and

small that are seeking to advance their U.S. commercial opportunities. Such

benefits fall into several sectors, from the sharing of information to provision

of business service.

C H I N A G E N E R A L C H A M B E R O F C O M M E R C E – U . S . A .

The magnificent building that stands at 55 Wall Street today had been

established in the 1820's as New York was emerging as the nation's economic

center. Businesses were rapidly multiplying and flourishing, and the

Exchange was a place where businessmen could efficiently conduct all kinds

of transactions in one place, instead of running around allover the city to

carry out their affairs. Boston architect Isaiah Rogers masterfully designed

the new building in the Greek revival style that was the height of fashion at

the time. Constructed from 1836 to 1842, the building was made of granite

brought all the way from the quarries of Quincy, Massachusetts. The huge

Ionic columns that tower over Wall Street were each carved from single

massive blocks of stone, instead

of being constructed in the conventional manner from smaller stones

pieced together. New York's residents were duly impressed as the

monumental structure rose over the small buildings and unpaved streets

of the city.

The enormous central trading hall, still the

building's most impressive feature, was opulently

designed and is surmounted by a vast dome. Not a

sliver of wood was used in its construction. Bankers,

brokers, insurance companies, the Chamber of

Commerce, the stock exchange, all rented space in

the building, which also had a post office, and

reading rooms stocked with newspapers from

around the world. The Merchants Exchange

building made Wall Street what it is today. During

its construction, nearby land values soared, existing

buildings along Wall street were torn down, and

rows of business and banking structures - almost all

in the Greek Revival Style - were put up in their

place. The rapid transformation of the area was

startling to New Yorkers.
