Day 1: LAKE MANYARA.After breakfast, at 08.00 am drive to Lake Manyara National park. Serengeti has about 14,000 sq km area, more than 3 million large mammals live in Serengeti Park. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zones for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. Wildebeest and its associates are followed by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Vultures, Ostriches, Secretary birds and more nice birds to see. This day proceed with morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Lunch will be served at Serengeti Lodge/camp. After lunch drive to Olduvai Gorge, which is the prehistoric site considered as Cradle of Mankind- first step on the path of human evolution..Then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive for Dinner at Ngorongoro Lodge/camp. The lodge sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater from where you get awesome views of the collapsed volcano.

Day 5: NGORONGOROAfter breakfast, depart for a day crater tour with picnic lunch. You will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metres) to the floor of the crater, a magnificent natural amphitheatre. Has an area of 260 sq. km, the crater is an attraction in its own right, unique conservation area. It is one of the wonders of the natural world, International Biosphere Reserve, You will have an opportunity to explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food..

Day 1:.Meet at Kilimanjaro International Airport, JRO on arrival and transfer to Hotel in Arusha.

NGORONGORO CRATER

Walking safaris, nature trekking in Ngorongoro Conservation area.Walking tours done in Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 1: After breakfast drive across Ngorongoro Conservation area, Lerai Forest to Nainokanoka Village, walk up the Olmoti crater and Munge waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at Nainokanoka/ Embulumbulu campsites or Lodge in Ngorongoro full board.

Day 2:Start our trek from Embulmbul/Nainokanoka village walking towards Empakai Highlands. After lunch walk down the crater for flamingoes population and back to the camp on the crater rim for dinner and over night ñ Empakai campsite or Lodge.There are designed platforms for safety and comfortable walking. Day 9: Drive to Lake Eyasi,.and Yaeda chini valley, home to Bushmen tribes of Datoga and Hadzable; most primitive tribe in Tanzania perhaps Africa. Lake EYasi is salt lake situated between the Rift Valley's Eyasi escarpment and the Kidero Mountains located south of Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Day 10: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park,.lunch at the lodge and proceed with Afternoon game drive. a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and moreÖ Over 450 species of birds have been observed. This park has Many baobab trees and some varieties of acacias, where as Tarangire's pythons climb trees, and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed.

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing: 6 Days Machame RouteMachame route is one of beautiful route of Kilimanjaro, others are Shira and Lemosho. Machame route provides spectacular view, variety of habitats and scenery view. The Machame Route climb can be done in a minimum of six days (five nights) on the mountain. However, it is most often tackled over seven days (six nights), for a better altitude acclimatization schedule. The trek begins at Machame Gate, located in the southern base of mountain, within its lush, fertile rainforest.

DAY 1:.After breakfast, you plus All mountain crew depart Arusha to Machame gate for about 45min.After about an hour of registration and park fees payments, start climbing along a clear trail through plantation and natural forest, thereafter a narrow forest path follows to the Machame camp(9,900ft), B.L.D.

DAY 2:As usual get breakfast and start trekking through the forest, steep ridge passing through heather and open moorlands, and crossing a large gorge to Shira camp (12,600ft).The distance is about 5-6 hours.

DAY 3:After breakfast, you hike to Lava tower (15,180ft) with lunch on the way to Baranco, then descend slowly to Baranco camp (12,850ft) for dinner and overnight, B, L ,D.

DAY 4:After breakfast, we leave Baranco hut for Barafu camp (14,910ft). We will pass through the last water drop at Karanga valley on the way up. Overnight Barafu camp, B, L, D.

DAY 5:At midnight, and get bite like biscuits and chocolates , start ascending to Uhuru Peak through the Stella point (18,640ft), then after reaching the summit, we will head down to Mweka camp () for dinner and overnight, B, L, D..

DAY 6:After breakfast, we will descend to Mweka gate with lunch box, and the waiting vehicle will take you to your hotel in Arusha, B, L

 

 

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing: 6 Days Marangu RouteThe Marangu Route (also known at the 'Coca-Cola' route) is considered as the easiest route for kilimanjaro climbing. It crosses The Saddle, a 5 km wide, high-altitude, semi-desert that separates craggy Mawenzi from the main summit Kibo.

Climbers sometimes spend an extra day to acclimate to the altitude at Horombo Hut. Also, climbers often start the final ascent to Uhuru Peak early from Kibo Hut, since the scree is easier to climb when frozen, and dawn views from the crater rim are often spectacular.Day to day climbing Kilimanjaro schedule is below.

Day 1: Drive to Marangu Gate for park formalities. Walk through the rain forest to Mandara hut (2743 m), about 3 hours.

Day 2: Leave the forest and cross open moor land to Horombo hut (3760 m).

Day 3: Rest and acclimatization day at Horombo Hut. Day walk to Zebra Rocks or to Mawenzi Hut.

Day 4: When hiking you will pass through moorland then alpine desert to "The Saddle" between the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. From here you will walk for about an hour to reach Kibo hut (4730 m).

Day 5: Very early start for the summit on steep scree up to Gillman's Point (5681 m) which is on

the crater rim. Continue around the rim (which will take about two hours if you are fit) to Uhuru Peak (5895 m) the highest point in Africa. Descend to Kibo Hut for tea and biscuits or soup and then down to the thicker air and relative warmth of Horombo hut.

Day 6: After breakfast, descend to Marangu gate for certificate awarding on successful climbing.

 

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing: 7 Days Lemosho RouteKilimanjaro climbing through Lemosho route..The Lemosho Route is a considered as virgin, remote, and little used and beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are rich in buffalo, elephant and other big game animals. It is easier and successful Kilimanjaro climbing route because of enough time for acclimatization.

Below is day to day trekking up Kilimanjaro

Day 1. Depart from Arusha to Londorossi Park Gate (2250 m, 2 hours). Do registration and pay entrance fees. Porters share average luggage and proceed to the first camp..From here a forest track requiring a 4WD vehicle leads to Lemosho Glades (2100 m, 11 km, 45 minutes) and a possible campsite (park fees are not paid to camp here). Walk along forest trails to Mti Mkubwa (big tree) campsite, (2750 m, 3 hours).

Day 2. The trail gradually steepens and enters the giant heather moorland zone. Several streams are crossed then it gains the Shira Ridge at about 3600 m and drops gently down to Shira 1 camp located by a stream on the Shira Plateau (3500 m, 5 hours)..

Day 3. A gentle walk across the plateau leads to Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a stream (3850 m, 1.5 hours). A variety of walks are available on the Plateau making this an excellent acclimatization day..

Day 4. Continue east towards Kibo passing the junction, then east towards the Lava Tower. Shortly after this, you descend to Barranco hut (3940 m, 4 hours)..

Day 5. A short scramble to the top of the Great Barranco and then a traverse over scree and ridges to the Karanga Valley (4000 m, 3 hours), beneath the icefalls of the Heim, Kersten and Decken Glaciers. After climbing out of the Karanga Valley the trail ascends a ridge to the Barafu Hut, a bleak location with little vegetation at 4600 m, (3 hours walking)..

Day 6. An early start for the ascent to the rim of the Kibo Crater between the Rebmann and Ratzel Glaciers, (4 hours); the last section before the rim can sometimes be snow-covered and an ice-axe or ski stick is useful for balance. From here a further hour leads to Uhuru Peak, from where there are often fine views of Meru to the west and the jagged peak of Mawenzi to the east. Descend to the Barafu Hut for a rest and lunch before continuing on down to camp at Mweka Hut in the giant heather zone on the forest edge.

Day 7. A 3-4 hour descent through beautiful forest brings you to the Park gate and your waiting transport to Arusha.

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing: 6 Days Rongai RouteMount Kilimanjaro climbing through Rongai Route..

Day 1  Simba Camp Drive to Marangu gate and register and then proceed to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp at height of 2750m.

Hike time: average 3 to 4 hours

After a short drive to the Rongai Gate through villages and coffee plantations we begin our trek along a winding track which weaves its way through natural rainforest harbouring a variety of wildlife. As the forest begins to thin we reach Simba Camp, The ìfirst caveî is near camp. Also you can see Kenya wilderness and savanna plains.

We stop here for lunch with spectacular views of Kibo and the Eastern ice fields before leaving the main trail across the moorlands in the direction of Mawenzi. We arrive at Kikelelwa Camp situated in a sheltered valley near Kikelelwa caves.

Start a steep and steady climbing up grasslands providing you with superb views before we leave the vegetation behind and arrive at Mawenzi Tarn Camp. Our campsite is below the awe-inspiring jagged spires of Mawenzi peak glistening in the sunshine.

Day 4  Kibo Camp (4700m)Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Camp

Hike time: 5 hours

Start climbing across the ìThe Saddleî between the volcanoes of Mawenzi and the towering Kibo. As we cross the alpine desert the open landscape offers panoramic views with Kibo looming overhead throughout the day. You can eventually make out a winding summit path high above on the side of the mountain. The world largest antelope, the eland can be seen in these parts.

Day 5  Summit DayKibo Camp to Uhuru to Horombo Hut

Hike time: 10 hours

Uhuru peak : 5895m.

We rise around 11:30pm for tea and biscuits and start the final and most demanding part of the climb by torchlight. After 5 or 6 hours of zig-zaging up loose volcanic scree we pass Williams Point at 5000m. Hans Meyer Cave at 5182m is next as we take it nice and slowly with regular rest stops to drink and catch our breath, however the severe cold makes is essential to keep moving. We reach Gillman's point at 5685m in time for the spectacular sunrise. We continue to Uhuru Peak the true summit of Kilimanjaro at 5895m. We pass spectacular glaciers and ice cliffs that still occupy most of the summit area, by the time we reach the summit the suns rays will have thawed our freezing bodies. Enjoy your time on the summit as you will remember it for ever more..We descend for 5 hours to Horombo camp skiing down the scree. The descent is surprisingly fast and we arrive at Horombo camp, our final campsite at 3720m.

Day 6  DescentHorombo hut to Marangu park gate

Descend Time: 4 hours

Depart from Horombo Camp our steady descent takes us down through moorland to Mandara hut before continuing through lush forest on a good path to the park gate at Marangu. You overnight at Hotel in Marangu or Moshi.

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing: 6 Days Umbwe RouteWake up at around 23:00 with some quick tea,chocolates and biscuits. We start our trek to the summit between the Rebman and Ratzel glaciers. We will head in a north-westerly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. This is the most mentally and physically challenging part of the trek. At Stella Point (5732m), we will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). At Uhuru Peak (5895m), we will have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. It can be very cold at night at these elevations, but it will be quite warm by the end of the hiking day. From the summit, we descend down to the Mweka Hut camp site, via Barafu for lunch. Walking sticks are needed for stability when descending to Mweka Camp (3100m). Later in the evening, we will enjoy our last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

DAY 1: UMBWE GATE TO UMBWE CAVE CAMP.Altitude (m): 1600m to 2900m, Distance: 11km, Time: 6 hours, Habitat: Montane Forest..

First Formalities at Kilimanjaro Umbwe Park Gate before starting trekking. The small winding track leads us up through rainforest and along the Umbwe River. The porters arrive earlier than you in a camp is at Umbwe Cave Camp and prepare tents and food, at about 2,900m altitude.

DAY 2: UMBWE CAMP TO BARRANCO CAMPAltitude(m): 2940m to 3970m, Distance: 6km, Time: 4-5 hours, Habitat: Montane Forest.

After breakfast, start hiking and shortly afterwards the forests ends. The wall of the Western Breach appearing and disappearing as the afternoon mists roll up the Great Barranco. We will camp at Barranco camp tonight..

DAY 3: BARRANCO CAMP TO KARANGA CAMP.Altitude (m): 3950m to 3930m, Distance: 7 km, Hiking Time: 4 hours, Habitat: Alpine Desert.This day we start with a short, but fun, scramble, to the top of the Great Barranco Wall. We then traverse over scree to the Karanga Valley (3930m) beneath the icefalls of the Heim, Kersten and Decken Glaciers. We will stay overnight at Karanga campsite..

DAY 4: KARANGA CAMP TO BARAFU CAMP.Altitude (m): 3930m to 4600m, Distance: 6kms, Hiking Time: 3 hours, Habitat: Alpine Desert.

Depart from Karanga campsite and meet the junction connecting with the Mweka descent Trail. From here we continue up to the Barafu Hut. You have now completed the Southern Circuit,

which offers views of the summit from many different angles. At camp, we can rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be clearly seen from this position.

DAY 5: BARAFU CAMP TO SUMMIT TO MWEKA HUTAltitude (m): 4600m to 5895m (and down to 3100m) , Distance: 7km ascent / 23km descent , Time:6- 8 hours ascent / 7-8 hours descent, Habitat: Stone scree and ice-capped summit.

DAY 6: MWEKA CAMP TO HOTELAltitude(m): 3100m to 1800m, Distance: 8 km, Time: 3-4 hours, Habitat: Montane Forest.

After breakfast we descend down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and walking sticks will help

Mount Meru

Mount Meru.is an active.stratovolcano.located 70.kilometres west of.Mount Kilimanjaro.in the nation of Tanzania. It has a height of 4,566.metres and Second highest mountain in Tanzania, the fifth highest in Africa.

Mount Meru is the topographic geographical feature of Arusha National Park. Its fertile slopes rise above the surrounding savanna and support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife, including nearly 400 species of birds, and also monkeys and leopards.The different vegetation zones and the diverse wildlife turn Mount Meru into much more than an excellent acclimatization walk for the Kilimanjaro.

Climbing mount Meru you pass through forest with strange trees, a giant heather zone and rocky moorland. Along the trail over 400 species of birds, buffalos, baboons and giraffes can be found.

Weather permitting, Kilimanjaro can be seen in the West. There are two huts available to climbers on the mountain and firewood is supplied..The best time to climb Meru is between October and February.But also June to September, while it is colder then.

We register at park gate and start trekking accompanied by an armed ranger. We will ascend up to Miriakamba Hut situated at 2,500m above sea level. The trekking takes approximately 3 hours. We will be walking between the montane forest where various species of flora and fauna can be found on this part of the mountain. There are beautiful views of Arusha National Park's various landscapes that can be seen from this trek and, if the sky is clear of clouds, spectacular views of Mt. Day 1:After breakfast, we drive to Momella Gate..Momella Gate is located near Shamba La Mbogo, a natural glade in the Mt. Meru Game Reserve. It is situated at 1,500m above sea level. Two routes are available from Momella Gate: The first route goes through the forest towards the crater floor and then steeply up to Miriakamba Hut. The second option climbs gradually through the grassland direct to Miriakamba Hut.

Day 2:From Miriakamba Hut the path is steep compared to other mountains in the region. We continue our ascent on a narrow winding trail through a thick montane forest, where various species of vegetation can be seen. There are water streams that we cross before approaching the moorland zone. A good view of Little Meru can be seen on a clear day, just as you approach Saddle Hut.

The ascent takes approximately 4 hours. After our arrival at Saddle Hut (3,500m), you have the option to embark on a 45 minute walk to Little Meru (3,820m). It has a meandering trail which is aided with good grass cover to give you good grip. One can see the Kenyan border from the peak of Little Meru, Ngara Nanyuki -a town that lies after the Arusha National Park, as well as gorgeous views of West Mt, Kilimanjaro and Longido.

Day 3:Our ascent to Big Meru, the summit of Mt. Meru (4,566m) begins at around midnight and takes us from the moorland zone to alpine desert zone. The trek will take approximately 6-7 hours. Along we will pass Rhino Point as we walk around the rim of Meru crater. Conditions are cold and windy and during the rainy season ice and snow can occur in this section of the route.

Option: You can climbing mount Meru for 4 days then on third day, descend to saddle hut for overnight. And on 4th day descend to Arusha park gate.
