Who we need

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes great writing. If you know your asyndeton from your elbow, great; if you instinctively know how to get under the skin of a subject and bring it to life in a really engaging way, even better.   To be honest, we know there’s not many people on the face of the planet who can do what we need but that’s definitely not going to stop us looking. If you’re a cross between a yellow pencil winning copywriter and a Pulitzer prize-winning journalist, we want to hear from you (at least partly just because that person sounds fascinating).   This is a huge opportunity for the right person. As a business we’re really going places and marketing is front and centre in that journey. We want this to be the first of many studio roles we bring in and you could help build and lead that.

What you’ll do

We need someone who can bring the great work our consultants do to life in a really engaging way. Our plan is to make our projects feel genuinely momentous, to help the workforces we engage with fall in love with Chemistry, and to completely banish management jargon and communicate in a human way. You’ll need to work closely with the consulting team to understand what makes a business tick and then transform that into something that strikes a chord with everyone who encounters it.   We also need to generate more business for Chemistry through a wide-ranging content marketing strategy and great copy will play a major role in this. Whether that’s case studies, website copy, blog articles, or sales collateral, it all needs to feel incredible and reflect our brand.   •  Work with the consulting team to create the language of

We call this, shockingly… ‘Opportunities to be Brilliant’.   You’ll get to hear from great industry speakers, learn from internal experts, improve your own skills, and even learn about things like mindfulness and nutrition so that you can be at your best every day.   We also use quarterly OKRs to make sure your development is constantly on-going and in tune with the needs of the business. If you need to do something to progress and do your job better, we’ll make sure it happens.   And we’d always rather develop and promote our own people than hire from outside. If you make it through the door, we’ll make sure you have every opportunity to get where you want to go – all you have to do is take it!
