Whos Report Will You Believe…?

By Lou Coleman

By Debbie Forté

WHAT IT DO WITH LUEGetting Plugged In

By Lou Dowdy

Lou Coleman God says, “Don’t do that or you will go to Hell!” But then Satan whispers, “It ain’t true… God loves you too much to send you to Hell. It’s alright, go ahead and do what you want; besides you can always ask for forgiveness later.” Lis-ten; don’t let Satan de-ceive you…. God will not be mocked! Any-one who disobeys God’s Word has crossed the line over which the Lord says if a man goes, he has

sinned. And we know that Sin equal Death! Now you wouldn’t be so foolish as to put a bullet in the chamber of a hand gun and put it to your head and pull the trigger, would you? Yet, in real-ity that is what you do every time you choose to willfully disobey the Word of God, leaving no sacrifice for sin [He-brew 10:26]. Don’t let Satan’s lies deceive you into compromising your obedience to God. You know God com-manded Adam and Eve not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and warned of the dire consequences if they choose to disobey His Word, [Genesis 2:15, 16]. But afterwards, Sa-tan strutted into the Gar-den and deceived Eve into believing that God was all talk; “He’s bluff-ing, He just wants to be God. He just wants to be a dictator. Don’t wor-

ry about Him; eat, drink and be merry…..” I tell you Satan is a liar! Dis-obedience to God is very consequential by nature. In many cases, it may end up costing you far more than you’ve ev-er thought. The conse-quences of disobedience are plain all throughout Scripture from the book of Genesis to Revelation. Oh, I say and I say it again, if you believe the lies of Satan, “Ya been had! Ya been took! Ya been hoodwinked! Bam-boozled! Led astray! Run amok” [Malcom X]. This is what Satan does. Satan purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. He doesn’t care about you. He’s mad that God loves you so. You mean noth-ing to [Satan] He wants to chew you up and spit you out! You better know that you know! (To con-tinue reading, please vis-it www.wssnews.com).

February 2nd San Bernardino Council Runoff Election LITTLEFIELD-RICHARD AND WILLIAMS DEBATE ON JANUARY 11THSan Bernardino Six Ward voters will elect a new representative to the San Bernardino City Council at a special election on Tuesday February 2nd. Bessine Littlefield-Richard and Roxanne Williams are knocking on doors throughout the sixth ward seeking voter support, as they compete for the City Council seat. Both candidates ran strong passionate campaigns for the leadership position… The question asked by many is, “Will the voters be as passionate about choosing leadership and get out to vote? The general election in November drew only a small percentage of eligible voters…Despite the fact that the City is transitioning out of bankruptcy and needs competent leaders. The candidates will meet to debate their qualifications and platforms for the City Council seat on Monday January 11th at the Ingram Community Center, 2050 N. Mt Vernon Ave. beginning at 6pm. The Forum is sponsored by the Northwest Redevelopment Project Area Committee. The candidates have been sent some questions in advance, so they will have time to research their responses as needed. The audience will also be able to present questions to the candidates. The candidates will also be given the opportunity to comment on any item or issue that is not included on the question list.

The candidates have been sent the following questions:What is your vision for Mt Vernon Ave and what is your plan?

What is the status of the State Street Extension, and your thoughts/plan to complete it?

What do you know about the City’s Receivership Program… Does it allow for San Bernardino 6th ward residents to participate as investors? Should it? What will you do to make that program work for 6th Ward Residents?

Estate Planning Tip of the Week (Part II) What is probate? Pro-bate is the legal pro-cess whereby a will is "proved" in a court and accepted as a valid pub-lic document that is the true last testament of the deceased. A probate al-so officially appoints the executor (or person-al representative), gen-erally named in the will, as having legal power to dispose of the testa-tor's assets in the manner specified in the testator's will. However, through the probate process, a will may be contested. The probate process in-cludes: proving in court that a deceased person's will is valid (usually a routine matter); identify-ing and inventorying the deceased person's prop-

erty; having the property appraised; and/or paying debts and taxes What is a transfer on death deed (TOD) and who can use it? The new Transfer on Death Deed (or Beneficiary Deed) is an easy and inexpen-sive way to bypass pro-bate court when you leave real estate with-out a Trust or a Will. It's like a regular deed used to transfer real estate to your beneficiaries, with a crucial difference: It doesn't take effect until your death. When you die, your real property is automatically trans-ferred to your beneficia-ries. All states do not al-low this but California is one that does. What is an estate; and

what happens to it if

You will be bidding on a lien, not on the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a trustee auction does not automatically en-title you to free and clear ownership of the property. You should also be aware that the lien being auctioned off may be a junior lien. If you are the highest bidder at the auction,

you are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to the property. You are encouraged to investigate the existence, priority, and size of outstanding liens that may exist on this property by contacting the county recorder's office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for this information. If you consult either of these resources, you should be aware that the same lender may hold more than one mortgage or deed of trust on the property. NO-TICE TO PROPERTY OWNER: The sale date shown on this notice of sale may be postponed one or more times by the mortgagee, ben-eficiary, trustee, or a court, pursuant to Section 2924g of the California Civil Code. The law requires that information about trustee sale postponements be made available to you and to the public, as a courtesy to those not present at the sale. If you wish to learn whether your sale date has been postponed, and, if applicable, the rescheduled time and date for the sale of this property, you may call (844) 477-7869 or visit this Internet Web site WWW.STOXPOSTING.COM, using the file number assigned to this case 037773-CA. Information about postponements that are very short in duration or that occur close in time to the scheduled sale may not immediately be reflected in the telephone information or on the Internet Web site. The best way to verify postponement information is to attend the scheduled sale. The workshop was part of CTY’s Science and Technology series, which offers one-day ex-periences that connect academically gifted stu-dents and their parents with scientists at lead-ing research institutions across the country to en-courage their interest in science, technology, en-gineering and math ma-jors and careers. The workshop at UCR highlighted how nano-technology—science, engineering, and tech-nology conducted at the nanoscale—is be-ing used to enhance bio-logical systems, as well as the inverse situation,

where biology is provid-ing new means for ad-dressing critical chal-lenges in the field of nan-otechnology. The event included faculty semi-nars and hands-on dem-onstrations, an under-graduate research pan-el discussion, and tours of UCR’s Center for Na-noscale Science and En-gineering Nanofabrica-tion Facility and Central Facility for Advanced Microscopy and Micro-analysis. “We wanted to trans-form our guests into na-no-bioengineers for the day so they could expe-rience firsthand how re-search in this area is ad-

dressing many unmet needs, not only in biolo-gy and medicine but al-so in energy, electron-ics, the environment and numerous other fields,” said Masaru Rao, an as-sociate professor of me-chanical engineering and materials science and en-gineering at UCR. “The students were extremely talented, very engaged, and we hope that some of them are inspired to consider pursuing edu-cational paths and even-tual careers in nanotech-nology and biology.” (To continue reading, please visit www.wssnews.com).
