Have you read the ingredients list on any processed foods lately? Did it concern you to see a long list of
chemicals with confusing names? Can you even pronounce any of them? Ever wondered what the chemi-
cals and industrial processing are doing to the food you eat? Putting it simply, they are killing our food,
and dead food doesn’t do you any favors.
Fresh food, like fruit, vegetables and nuts are crammed full of essential amino acids, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals,
anti-oxidants and phytonutrients - many of which have proven anti-cancer properties and promote physical and mental
wellbeing. Mother Nature knew what she was doing when she created these magical ingredients and she packed in yet
another health giving surprise…..enzymes!
What on earth are enzymes?
Well, enzymes are like natural machines: they hold things in place and
speed up processes and reactions. Each enzyme has a specific function and
in the human body there are about 3,000 known enzymes and scientists
believe there are tens of thousands more waiting to be discovered. While
we busily get on with our lives, in the background your body is performing
an astounding number of chemical and biological reactions and all of them
use enzymes. Breathing, digesting, moving, thinking, absolutely everything
you do needs some kind of enzyme to catalyse, or speed up, the reaction.
Virtually every aspect of your body is controlled by enzymes, so they are
extremely important.
How do you know if you have enough?
Well, chances are you don’t. Many people don’t have enough enzymes, specifically for digestion and metabolism. If
you find that you are struggling to keep up with the pace of your life and never seem to have enough energy, physically
or mentally, it could be that you are in need of a natural enzyme boost. So can you see WHY they are so VITAL to you?
There are 3 main groups of enzymes we are going to focus on:
1. Metabolic enzymes: provide your body with the energy it needs
2. Digestive enzymes: break down food into tiny pieces that can be absorbed
3. Plant enzymes: initiate digestion and are found in raw plant based food
The human body has the ability to make both metabolic and digestive enzymes but,
and this is a big BUT, it has a limited supply. Some scientists believe we are born with
‘just the right amount’ while others believe we get less efficient at making them, es-
pecially if our diet is lacking specific minerals and nutrients. Either way, we seem to
need more enzymes, specifically for digestion, than we have available to us.

Eat Alive to Thrive!
Nov / Dec 2014 Issue—Page 5
When we don’t have enough digestive enzymes, the nutrients from food cannot be absorbed effectively. Also, the
body diverts crucial resources from metabolic enzymes to digestive enzymes. A lack of metabolic enzymes, which lit-
erally create energy, makes us feel tired and mentally lethargic. Our health, specifically our ability to energize our-
selves, suffers when we don’t have enough enzymes to do the jobs that need doing. Like not having enough staff in a
busy factory, eventually something has got to give!
So WHY don’t we have enough enzymes?
The simple reason is because we have stopped utilizing Mother Nature’s magical plant enzymes to start the process of
digestion. I said Mother Nature knew what she was doing and I meant it!
Plant based foods (fruit, vegetables and nuts) contain their own
digestive enzymes aka plant enzymes. This means when we eat
them, they start to digest themselves. Consequently our own di-
gestive enzymes have much less work to do. You can even see
plant enzymes at work when you leave fresh fruit and vegetables
for too long, they go rotten. The process of going rotten is actually
the food breaking itself down, digesting itself. So, if we aren’t
eating enough live plant based enzymes, because we are eating
dead food, our own enzymes have much more work to do and get
‘enzyme fatigue’. Plant enzymes help the body out by reducing
the amount of our own enzymes we need to use for digesting our
food. The more plant enzymes we eat the less work our body has
to do and the more energy we get from our food, making us feel
more energized and alive.
Why doesn’t processed food contain enzymes?
Food processing often includes cooking at extremely high temperatures and adding preservatives and other additives
which destroy the natural enzymes. Food producers know they can increase their profits if food lasts longer on the
store shelf. So, to make it last longer they kill off the natural plant enzymes which cause the food to go off. Killing off
these enzymes kills the food, reducing its nutrient value and eliminating the health giving enzymes.
Don’t despair. There IS a SOLUTION!
Eat raw fruit and vegetables! Why raw? Enzymes are made of protein and when you heat them (above 115 F) they
change. Just like when you cook an egg, the protein becomes totally different. For enzymes to work at their best they
need to be in their natural state, uncooked.
You don’t need to go totally raw to get the benefits of fresh uncooked fruit and vegetables; simply adding more to your
diet can have huge benefits. Many people enjoy including raw vegetable juices in their diet: a delicious and simple way
to increase your raw vegetable intake, without having to chow-down on huge plates of raw vegetables. Smoothies are
another excellent way to get some raw goodies into your diet with the benefit of adding more fiber: quick to make,
delicious and hardly any washing up – PLUS kids love them!
Try a delicious juices or raw smoothies today to get some extra enzymes into you!

Have you ever noticed elongated, artfully decorated ob-
jects made of crystals, stones and silver or copper wire at
holistic expos and wondered if they were just beautiful
crafts used in some exotic rituals? Maybe you received
acupuncture, massage or reflexology and the practitioner
employed a wand like tool during the process. Perhaps
you experienced relief or relaxation from one of the more
modern quantum energetic wands.
Today we are going to explore the rich
history and time honored uses of
healing wands. Do they work?
How do they work? Can
and should we use
them on our-
selves? Do
they wear
out?
Must
they be
recharged?
Can healing
wands cause harm or
disrupt pacemakers? How
long do the effects last? And
didn’t I see something like this on
Star Trek?
Healers have used crystal wands for centuries
in rituals, energy massage and crystal healing
work. The Egyptians kings are depicted holding what is
known as the Wands of Horus. Druids, fairies, gods of all
kinds as well as healers in almost every culture have
found uses for wands made of natural materials such as
stone, crystals and even wood. These tools are recog-
nized not just for healing of physical ailments but also for
attunement to supernatural and psychic arenas. They
have been known to be excellent tools for meditation,
communication, transformation, balance, harmony, en-
hancing the environment, healing relationships and
more.
Early on, man discovered the healing
properties of stones and especially crys-
tals. It seems that primitive humans had
a clearer understanding of the im-
portance of vibrational harmony of the
universe than most modern folks have
today with our pervasive use of Wi-Fi,
cell phones and all things electrical. Centuries ago, people
did not know about electromagnetic oscillations created
by quartz crystals, but they knew how to take advantage
of the healing properties, and this information was
passed down through generations of healers. The art of
self care has been lost in recent generations, but is enjoy-
ing more attention as we again look to time honored
ways to maintain our health by staying in tune with na-
ture.
You can see many styles and versions of healing wands,
some with crystals and gemstones. These additions can
magnify the effects of the crystal wands and can cause
the price to range from single digits to thousands of dol-
lars.
Different stones project different healing en-
ergies which cause different effects.
Practitioners using crystal wands gen-
erally like to have a variety of styles
and stones which requires a thor-
ough knowledge of the powers
of each. Healing wands
gather and direct ener-
gy which must be
used with care, alt-
hough this energy will
not affect pace- makers or
other electrical medi- cal appli-
ances.
Crystal and gemstone wands should al-
ways be cleansed and recharged after usage, especially if
used on multiple people or for multiple purposes. The
reason for this is that any harmful or negative energies

the stone has removed from one
person may be transferred to
another. Cleansing a wand is ac-
complished by soaking it in water
or sea salt, leaving it in the sun
for an hour or all night in the
moonlight.
One of the most valuable uses for
healing wands is for physical healing, although is excellent
for emotional or mental stresses. The energy from the
wand is used to remove energy blockages in the bio ener-
getic field providing a balanced flow of the body’s life
force energy. We are now beginning to understand what
the ancients knew – that pain, discomfort and disease
have their roots in energy blockages. This knowledge re-
sides in the advanced discoveries in quantum physics and
quantum mechanics which brings us to the latest version
of healing wands.
The generation of wands available to us now include a
technology developed from the work of modern physi-
cists like Einstein and Tesla as well as many others who
have advanced the theories of the quantum field of reso-
nance and vibration. This technology is desperately need-
ed today to balance the huge quantity of foreign frequen-
cies found in our electronically mandated environment in
which we are now forced to live.
Although this new generation of vibrational tools is not as
beautifully decorated, they have a number of advantages
over their predecessors.
Simple in form and small in size, they are easily portable
and thus available to use at a moment’s notice. The cost is
reasonable for a lifetime of use for such a powerful and
efficient tool. They never wear out or need to be re-
charged although it is good practice to cleanse them with
soap and water. I sometimes set mine on top of my crys-
tal salt lamp for a couple of hours to clear energies alt-
hough I am not sure it is even necessary. No special
knowledge is needed to successfully use the quantum
energetic wands as even children can use them. They
tend not to collect negative or foreign frequencies be-
cause they are created in a vacuum chamber which per-
manently magnifies the energetic signature of the crystals
and minerals to that of the zero point field. The zero point
field is the name Einstein gave to the smallest quantum of
energy detected in an atom at 0 degrees. It has been
since determined to be the life force energy known as chi
or prana. Imagine how wonderful to be able to access
this life giving energy for your family.
My own experience with quantum wands has been pro-
found, wide ranging and reliable. My family and l have
enjoyed relief from stress, injury, burns, stiff back muscles
and dental procedures to name just a few. I have in-
creased energy, vitality and feel years younger. Protection
from electromagnetic radiation can actually be demon-
strated with simple muscle tests; the need for that is
great in our current environment. I and other wand users
send our chakras an infusion of life force energy every day
which strengthens immunity, detoxifies and energizes the
body.
The only thing moving through any wand is energy. The
energy brings the necessary information that the body
needs to operate at its most efficient and thus heal itself.
The ancient peoples using natural stones as well as Dr.
Bones McCoy of Star Trek fame with his Dermal Regener-
ator all had a good grasp of energy healing. Shouldn’t
you?

ENERGY
Our voice changed many times throughout our lives - reflecting physical, mental and emotional metamor-phoses. Our voice at two years old was different than the voice we possessed when we were ages 17, 40 or 80. Our voice is also much different when we are de-pressed, in love or after we land that big contract at work.
When in a meditative or calm state - imagine a time in the past. How did your voice sound then? Say your name aloud, while still pretending that you are in the past. For example, “I am Jill”, and I vividly imagine being at a picnic when I was eight years old. I listen, feel and grasp the emotions in my words. I can rekin-dle within myself the energy of that free spirited little girl – with all of her enthusiasm and excitement…before life’s trials set in. Now select another memory, recreate the situation in your imagination. Say your name. How does it feel? Does it sound differently than the earlier voice?
There are many advantageous applications of this simple process. Here are some examples:
What was the best moment of your life? What did your voice sound like? If you recreate the voice, then you recreate the energy of that moment. If you con-tinue to express this energy in your voice today, you continue to experience the uplifting energy.
When have you felt the closest to God? What did your voice sound like then? Recreate that voice and you’ll go to that space - feeling the same, close divine connection!
When you remember a scene from childhood and completely submerse yourself into the memory, you
can speak and hear your child’s voice. If you go back early enough you will hear innocence and purity in your voice. You can bring back some of those beauti-ful qualities by speaking as you did then.
Recall a painful time, when your voice was full of negative emotions. While you are imagining you are back reliving this event, you can talk in an uplifting and positive voice. This changes your memory and its associated feelings, recreating a more positive memory. This can also facilitate an emotional release of the stored negative energy associated with this situation.
Our various voices contain the energy that we experi-enced at different times in our lives. Listen to the sounds of your voice during power spiritual mo-ments, times of great success and experiences of happiness. Recreate these sounds to gather and maintain the “successful” energy.
Jill Mattson has spent the past 20 years researching Vibratory Sound Energy for healing and a wide ar-ray of other remarkable uses (available in 3 books). She special-izes in Sound Secrets of Ancient

The free dictionary online defines body work as: body-
work /body·work/ (-wurk″) a general term for therapeutic
methods that center on the body for the promotion of
physical health and emotional and spiritual well-being,
including massage, various systems of touch and manipu-
lation, relaxation techniques, and practices designed to
affect the body's energy flow.
Most individuals, including myself, in the past simply as-
sumed bodywork was massage and that they were inter-
changeable. Well yes and then no.
First of all, Massage is a modality that has specific tech-
niques. “Kneading” “Friction” “Percussion” to name a
few. That is pretty straight forward and I will address the-
se techniques in my article about Massage. For now lets
get back to “bodywork”.
Bodywork includes massage and much, much more. Asian
techniques such as Shiatsu and Chi Nei Tsang are claimed
by both camps. Therapies such as Cranial sacral are seen
as massage and bodywork and are used by massage ther-
apists, energy workers, physical therapists, chiropractors
and healers. Reiki is an energy work that is not exactly
bodywork because in its purest form the body is not
touched and yet massage therapists, body workers, nurs-
es and healers claim it as their own.
So, if we go back to the Free dictionary’s definition, we
see that bodywork is all inclusive of therapeutic methods
that center on the body.
Lets look at bodywork as a therapeutic method. Massage
therapy and all of its forms fall here. Swedish massage
(the one you see in the movies), Deep tissue (the one that
is painful but should not be if your therapist is properly
trained), Medical Massage (the unfolding norm that is
establishing itself within the medical model for therapeu-
tic intervention), Shiatsu (the Asian method of releasing
trapped chi along meridian lines of the body), Chi Nei
Tsang (the Taoist method for releasing chi within the or-
gan systems and all the related senses, emotions and
structural issues of the body that causes pain and poor
posture) and on and on. I will look at each one of these in
future articles.
Bodywork as Touch. Harvey Kellogg, the author of the
text Massotherapists were tested against in Ohio for over
50 years, states that touch is an extremely important part
of the healing process. He had a sanitarium in Battle

Creek Michigan where he documented his studies on the
power of touch.
When children have a failure to thrive, the therapy used is
touch. Hold them without expectation, with gentleness
and kindness, and guess what? They begin eating and re-
lating and thriving. This is a very powerful tool in the heal-
ing process. A mother “touches” a sick child and they calm
in her arms. We touch a grieving friend and they are com-
forted.
The touch is physical, and as any body worker or massage
therapists knows, the second you touch another being the
therapeutic effect of what you are doing has begun. It is
not about technique or specific movements, they are
simply refinements … of touch.
Touch is not the only therapeutic method that centers on
the body. Lets Look at Reiki for a moment. This modality is
about Ki (which is the Japanese word for Chi or energy,
Prana, Mana). Every culture has a name for it. Whether
you believe in it or not, there is something unexplainable
about the energetic connection. Even the west recognized
it. It was called Mesmerism. The word “mesmerize” dates
back to an 18th century Austrian physician named Franz
Anton Mesmer (1734-1815). He established a theory of
illness that involved internal magnetic forces, which he
called animal magnetism. (It would later be known as
mesmerism.)
Mesmer believed that good physical and psychological
health came from properly aligned magnetic forces; bad
health, then, resulted from forces essentially being out of
whack. He noticed a treatment that seemed to work par-
ticularly well in correcting these misaligned forces. To
learn more about this subject, visit this site: http://
psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2011/05/09/psychologys
-history-of-being-mesmerized/
This very closely aligns itself with Eastern perspective in
that there is something there that can be ‘felt’, experi-
enced, and in some cases measured. But not explained
very well. Hmm. We will explore this further at a later
date. (I feel another article coming on.)
Enter Hypnotism, Meditation, Guided imagery, all tools
that are relaxation techniques that impact the body. By
the above definition they are bodywork. I will also explore
them at a later date. I wanted you to see how broad the
definition is as it stands.
Manipulation refers to such modalities as Cranial Sacral,
Chiropractic, Acupuncture, MET (muscle energy tech-
nique) and many others. They impact muscles and fascia
(the stuff between all our cells) and as such have an im-
pact on our nervous system, mental and emotional out-
look. You simply cannot divorce Body, from Mind, from
Spirit. Whether you like it or not, they are a Ménage à
Trois (disambiguation) - Love triangle which will not be
separated.
If someone has a stooped posture and is forced, by the
structure of the body they inhabit, to be looking at the
ground for most of their life miracles happen when they
receive bodywork and are standing more erect. Their per-
spective changes as their capacity to look forward into the
future without being stuck looking at the past. This
change in perspective changes their philosophical view
and ultimately their relationship with the divine.
And it all effects the energy flow or chi flow of the individ-
ual. At that point choices are made whether to continue
on the path one has been traversing. Or to change course
and explore the myriad of healing possibilities on the hori-
zon.
Eastern and Western perspectives, while coming from
divergent cultures, actually come to the same place in the
end. Bodywork, and the therapeutic effect of bodywork,
is not only physical. It bridges that world from physical to
mental to emotional to spiritual. Each culture uses differ-
ent words and has different methods but the goal is the
same: Integration of body, mind and spirit.
I for one am most grateful to be living in a time where
both perspectives are readily available to me. I can blend
them to suit my unique ancestral and genetic make up to
create a system that works for me. I invite you to explore
and do the same. As always, please contact me if you
would like to have a topic discussed. I will include it in the
next issue if possible. But for now, our next article will be
about Chi Nei Tsang: applied chi kung to the abdomen, my
specialty and my passion.

My heart speaks to me whenever I am asked to
buy a neon pink plastic travel cup, wear a
something-colored ribbon, participate in a race/walk/
swim or do some catchy activity that I can record and put
on YouTube. My heart says a straightforward, firm “No.”
Just that. No long speeches or reasons.
On the social level, I am left to find a graceful way to tell a
passionate young woman working for Susan G. Komen
why I will not wear pink. Or explain to the kid down the
street, whose Mom is recently diagnosed, why I won’t
sponsor the walk. Worse yet, to my eldest daughter why I
won’t petition to get the White House to light up for No-
vember to bring awareness to childhood cancers, particu-
larly brain cancers. She is troubled beyond comfort: “Of
course, the White House is all lit up for breast cancer—
why not for the kids?” Can I admit that the most disqui-
eting experience I have by following my heart’s refusal? I
am not endorsing my granddaughter’s Facebook request
for her personal “fight for survivors of brain cancer.” My
heart knows my truth. I needed the words.
To find these words I had to excavate deeply into my soul.
This led me to research for 6 years the mountains of infor-
mation. From the foothills of ancient methods of care
and cancer prevention to the breathtaking heights of the
opposing geopolitical stances that drive research money
throughout the globe. I have the words now, but still
shrink to speak in the midst of the emotionally heated
battle. I want to share what I’ve learned while respecting
and honoring the tender feelings, passions and beliefs of
others who are touched by this. I want to share what I
have learned in hopes that those not yet diagnosed and
those who survived may be served.
The biases of age, race, culture, ancestry, location on the
planet, financial assets, celebrity status and even political
party will direct the treatment one is offered and what
you will (most likely) choose. The only areas of agree-
ment in all the studies and beliefs is that inflammation
and infection precede cancer. It is the microenvironment
of disease. The larger environment of cancer is elemental
pollution at all levels.
Why, then, does our culture (and many throughout the
world) spend enormous amounts of time, energy and
money on AWARENESS. The push for a disease aware-
ness started with the purpose of eliminating stigma. Be-
ginning with the red AIDS ribbon and moving throughout
the color spectrum, diseases raced to choose their ribbon
color to stake a claim for public attention with the hopes
of research money and a cure.
But does research create cures? Everywhere you look, in
print, on TV, across the Internet and even at the cosmetic
counters of department stores, mammogram advocates
are pushing the procedure as if it were the ultimate cure
for cancer. It is not. While early detection may, in some
instances save lives, screening mammograms do not pre-
vent cancer. In the mid-1980s, by the time a woman
found a lump, the tumor was advanced. Annual mammog-
raphy came into wide acceptance around that time as a
way to find a tumor before it could be felt. The idea was
that finding it early meant that treatments such as sur-
gery, radiation and chemo could reduce the breast cancer
death rate. By this measure, mammograms have had suc-
cess. Mammograms can be called the 1980’s prevention
of advanced tumors.
What I ask is: how many more survivors do we need to

make women wake up and demand a new meaning for
early detection? Instead of running and marching and
walking to raise money for a Cure, we should scream for
earlier prevention and detection. Researchers stopped
looking for the Cause a long time ago because we're de-
manding the Cure. Does anyone see the problem with
this? Do women realize they are simply raising money for
the drug companies, which have more wealth than most
countries to cure something we can avoid with the right
tools and protocols?
Mammograms are not an acceptable level of prevention
in 2014. Huge advances have been made in technology
such as infrared breast imaging (IRBI). IRBI shows areas of
concern years in advance of a mammographic finding.
This is the point at which a person can make dietary and
lifestyle changes, use lymph drainage exercises, evidence-
based vitamins and nutraceuticals to heal the abnormali-
ty. Improvements can be followed by non-invasive, non-
painful, non-radiating imaging. If the area of heat
(possible infection) and inflammation goes away, the risk
of progression, by definition, goes away. Isn’t this what
we, as individuals are all really working toward?
For 15 plus years I have used Thermograms to keep me
aware of areas of inflammation. Thermograms have also
prevented my exposure to unnecessary radiation from
mammograms. I believe insurance coverage should be
provided for the following: Thermograms, supplemental
therapies (lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy)
and nutritional interventions. I ask the industry to create
clearly defined protocols for genuine early detection (pre
-lump) and alternative treatments for noninvasive cor-
rections.
In addition to finding the cause of cancer, (environmental
pollutants creating genetic changes), we need to demand
that state-of-the-art infrared breast imaging be per-
formed with every breast exam and every mammogram.
We need to insist that insurance companies cover this
test as readily as they cover mammograms and cancer
therapies.
The new billboard campaign for mammograms this month
attacks women’s esteem to engage their compliance with
mammograms. They call for you to “Woman Up” and get
a mammogram.
“Woman Up”? I’m starting right now by eliminating any
pink plastic product that is a symbol for solidarity in the
“fight” against breast cancer. This is the same plastic by-
product proven to pollute and create cancer through soil
and water contamination.
I’m going to “Woman Up” and start speaking what my
heart knows. My heart knows that the fight isn’t against
cancer. The fight is against a culture of money, deceit and
social control methods that keep women using outdated
techniques that further them from the very health and
prevention they are promised. Let’s target the true ene-
my.
Throw away your ribbon and join me. Women are the
moving voice of our culture. We create and birth change.
We are the axis. Talk about genuine prevention. Get an
IRBI and submit the claim over and over to the insurance
company. The wheels may grind slowly—but they grind.

The use of Infrared thermal imag-
ing to detect heat patterns in the
human body is a technology creat-
ed for military use. The medical
applications are extensive in that
areas of increased heat indicate
inflammation / infection and decreased heat can be
medically significant, as well. This radiation in the in-
frared range of the electromagnetic spectrum images is
called Thermograms. Since infrared radiation is emitted
by all objects above absolute zero, thermography
makes it possible to see one's environment with or
without visible illumination. The amount of radiation
emitted by an object increases with temperature;
therefore, thermography allows one to see variations in
temperature. When viewed through a thermal imaging
camera, warm objects stand out well against cooler
backgrounds. www.picturemyhealth.com thermogra-
phy (IRT) is a good resource for anyone interested in
Thermograms for breast health or total body imaging.

Holistic health is not a temporary fad. It represents an alternative lifestyle and system of reality that offers individuals self-empowering perceptions about how to take responsibility for the quality of their health
and the quality of their lives
Carolyn Myss, Ph.D & C. Norman Shealy, M.D. “The Creation of Health”
L ast week I drove to an area of town that I am un-familiar with to meet two friends for an early
morning meeting. I found my way to the designated area and saw one of my friends at the outdoor café.
I went around the corner, turned the car in the proper direction and parked just down from the restaurant. As I was leaving my car a very nice street worker came up and suggested I might want to move my car as they were do-ing work on that street and towing cars left and right, lit-erally.
I got back in the car drove up to the corner and went around the block to find another curb parking area where I did not have to parallel park. Then I walked to the cor-ner and discovered the restaurant was not where I thought it would be. For a moment I was so disoriented. When I looked caddy corner, I saw my friend.
Ok, I get it; I lost my way when I went around the block. I met with my friends and enjoyed a lovely meeting. But during the course of the meeting kept hearing about cars being towed.
An hour later I got up to leave and head to work. I went around the corner to the store front where I had parked and my car was not there. Interestingly, another silver car was parked in the spot, but not mine.
Why would they tow mine and let someone else park there. I looked at the store front again and knew without a doubt it was the same store.
My heart sank, I knew the day was shot and I would need to find my vehicle. Oh God, how much was this going to cost. I prayed to Arch Angel Michael to help. (Of course, I did ask why he did not protect my car when I know I had asked that of him before I left my driveway.) But, none the less, I asked his help as I knew there was a reason this had happened.
I went back to the restaurant to report to my friends and saw a police officer in the street. I walked out and asked how I could find out if my car was towed. He told me to
go back to the restaurant and he would be with me in a minute.
I went back feeling distressed and let down by my faith and my helpful angels. But, I asked them to help me be peaceful through this turmoil.
I took a breath and in my mind’s eye saw myself looking caddy corner to see my friend sitting in front of the res-taurant. Oh my goodness, I had parked down the street in the other direction. As soon as I remembered, I spotted my car, felt relief flood my system and apologized to my angel friends for losing faith. I waved off the officer and started to my car. I found it parked where I left it in front of a store front identical to the one I stood before earlier.
As I was driving, I realized this was a metaphor for life. While we are living the twists and turns of everyday life, thinking we have been let down and our prayers not heard, it is just an illusion of confusion we create because we believe all the negativity we hear.
If we would just slow down, allow the process, we will soon see with clarity how things were never as we thought but all in perfect order and we are always taken care of and watched over.
By worrying about the things we hear could happen, we create the problems that we experience. If we just trust that all is truly perfect, we will soon see the illusion fall away and find our joyous result.—Roseann

What is Biofeedback? Biofeedback is vibrational or en-ergy healing which works on a cellular level stimulating the organ’s own frequencies (vibration) to produce regen-eration so healing can start.
Did you know? Everything has its own vibrational fre-quency –the human body, plants, cells, tissue, blood, our thoughts and feelings. This includes every organ or patho-gen found in the body, as well as every significant psycho-logical/emotional/spiritual event. It is all governed by The Law of Vibration. "The human body is made up of electronic vibrations, with each atom and element of the body, each organ and or-ganism, having its electronic unit of vibration necessary for the sustenance of, and equilibrium in that particular organism. Each unit, then, being a cell or a unit of life in itself has the capacity of reproducing itself by the first the law as is known as reproduction-division. When a force in any organ or element of the body be-comes deficient in its ability to reproduce that equilibrium necessary for the sustenance of physical existence and its reproduction, that portion becomes deficient in electronic energy. This may come by injury or disease, received by external forces. It may come from internal forces through lack of eliminations produced in the system or by other agencies to meet its requirements in the body." - Edgar Cayce (1928) from There is a River by Thomas Sugrue.
Stress Reduction & Biofeedback Thousands of Medical Research studies prove that stress wreaks havoc on the mind and body. For example, psy-chological stress is associated with greater risk for depres-
sion, heart disease and infectious diseases. When under stress, cells of the digestive and immune system are una-ble to respond to hormonal control, and consequently, produce levels of inflammation that promote disease. In-flammation plays a role in many diseases such as cardio-vascular, asthma and autoimmune disorders to name a few. Stress is the body’s instinctive response to external envi-ronmental cues, as well as to one’s inner thoughts and feelings. It is how you react to perceived danger — the “fight or flight” response.
TYPES OF STRESS
PHYSICAL: intense exertion, manual labor, lack of sleep, travel
CHEMICAL: drugs, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and envi-ronmental pollutants such as cleaning chemicals or pesticides
MENTAL: perfectionism, worry, anxiety, long work hours
EMOTIONAL: anger, guilt, loneliness, sadness, fear
NUTRITIONAL: food allergies, vitamin and mineral de-ficiency
TRAUMATIC: injuries or burns, surgery, illness, infec-tions, extreme temperatures
PSYCHOLOGIAL: troubled relationships, financial or career pressures, challenges with life goals, spiritual alignment and general state of happiness
INHERITED: genetic/DNA passed on to the next gener-ation.

Why is vibrational healing important?
When parts of the body become stressed or diseased, they are no longer producing the correct sound wave; in other words they are not vibrating at their prime (optimal) resonant frequency. To re-establish or recali-brate your frequency, you need to understand how lower and higher vibrations affect your energy and health.
Vibrational therapy is one of the most, if not the most widely studied field today. There is now global interest and research in the applica-tions of Vibrational therapy.
Vibrational therapy has been used by various systems throughout the ages, but because of its subtle nature,
until recently it has been largely ignored by the main-stream establishment. For-tunately, this is no longer the case.
Advancements in modern technology have made it possible for the unseen/subtle to be seen. Re-searchers can now view and
measure the body's subtle ener-gy fields, as well as changes in these fields after Vibrational modalities have been ap-plied. With these findings has come a new surge of global interest, research, and discoveries in all systems vibra-tional in nature.
Biofeedback can assist the body in the healing process by reducing stress, devitalizing harmful organisms, de-toxifying the tissues and revitalizing our vital energy lev-els.
Who can receive Biofeedback therapy? Adults, ado-lescences, toddlers, and even animals!

Do You Daydream About Money?
Do you love stories? Do you love learning about the char-acters in every story whether it is a simple short story or a more elaborate 500-page novel?
Each of us has many stories in our lives, some short and some very long. It is what we are all about. Few consider their relationship with money to be a series of short sto-ries that has become the story of their life with money that can be very, very long!
That story can be a drama, a comedy, a love story, a trag-edy, and more; but there are always the components of any story present. There are the characters. There are the “conflicts” that create any story. There is “the plot”. Finally, there is “the climax” of the story.
Think about it! You are full of stories about your life, and many of those stories more than likely are about money.
When you begin to think about those stories, the symbol-ism of money may take center stage in your story. Basi-cally, money is a tool providing for self care—needs and some wants. More than self-care, it can also be a symbol for self-control, independence, comfort, safety, respect, worthiness, value, power, sexiness, love, and happiness. The symbols are personal for money is very personal!
The symbolism can directly reveal so much about your relationship with money. What is your comedic one-liner about money? For example, “I don’t care about money!” That can display many feelings—indifference, fear, being aloof, and more. It all depends upon the speaker’s money story.
An interesting point about money stories is that they often become our daydreams; they are what we love or what we fear. They can be about the vacation we cannot afford but would love to have or they can be the daytime and evening nightmares about being in lack.
Let those daydreams—good or bad—lead you to your cur-rent money story. Take the time to analyze the story.
Who are the characters?
What is the conflict?
What is the plot?
And what is the climax or conclusion?
Reduce your current money story down into its compo-nents, and soon you will not spend as much time “worrying” about money. You may also see that there is a repetitive “theme” when it comes to money in your life.
If you discover a recurring theme, it is time to seriously look into your money relationship to discover if it is the cast of characters, the conflict, or the plot that keeps re-appearing. And then, it is time to address the responsible component that is causing concerns with money for you.
Once you do that, the power of daydreaming and story telling can be put into action: You can change the ending of any story because you are the author, and you can de-termine how your story will end, not only once but also every time. Just take the time to “read’ your own story, especially when it comes to money.
What is Your Money Story?

A s a psychiatrist, I feel strongly that letting go of resent-
ments, a point I emphasize in “Emotional Freedom,” is
essential to free yourself from negativity. The main
person the resentment hurts is you.
A resentment is a grudge that you harbor after you’ve felt mis-
treated. It’s easy to hold onto all the incidents that angered you,
from a gossiping hairdresser to a two-timing ex-husband. And, if
you took a poll, you’d probably get a lot of people on your side
about your right to stay resentful. According to such logic, as
time passes, you have “the right” to get angrier becoming a bro-
ken record of complaints. But is that the sour person you want to
be? Instead, for emotional freedom, try to release resentments
and let compassion purify them. One friend, in the midst of that
process, likened uncovering resentments to “dragging dead bod-
ies out of a well.” You don’t want moldering negativity rotting
your psyche.
Forgiveness is a state of grace, nothing you can force or pretend.
I guide patients toward the large-heartedness to forgive both
injuries others have caused or they’ve self-inflicted. Forgiveness
penetrates the impenetrable--the obstinacy that stifles love, the
tenacious pain that dams our energy reserves. A Stanford re-
search study showed that forgiveness significantly decreases
stress, rage, and psychosomatic symptoms. I’m not saying that
betrayal is ever justified, that you aren’t entitled to be upset if
someone wrongs you. Or that you shouldn’t try to improve or
else leave a destructive situation. Forgiveness, though, ensures
that resentments don’t feed on your energy. Finally, remember
forgiveness refers to the actor, not the act. Not the offense but
the woundedness of the offender.
STRATEGIES TO LET RESENTMENTS GO
(From Emotional Freedom: Liberate Yourself From Negative
Emotions and Transform Your Life (Three Rivers Press, 2011)
Strategy One: Set Your Intention to Release the Resentment
The purpose of releasing resentments is to increase your energy
and to feel better. Select a target. A critical mother. A control-
ling boyfriend. A cutthroat colleague. Perhaps you’ve tried to
discuss the grievance with no results. (Always attempt to work
things out if the person is the slightest bit receptive.) Or your
target may truly be unapproachable. In either case, away from
the person, air your resentments without sugarcoating them. Do
this in a journal, with a therapist, or friend. For example say, “I
despise the double-crossing conniver because...” Frankly ex-
pressing your feelings is necessary to forgive.
Strategy Two: Cultivate Forgiveness
In a quiet moment, really reach to find compassion for the per-
son’s shortcomings, not the deed itself. This may be very hard
work. What insecurities or fears motivated him or her? Why is
the person’s heart so closed? What caused his or her moral
blindness? Try to discern the context of the person’s actions. At
this point, you may be inwardly able to ask yourself to start to
forgive. Perhaps you’re not there yet--that’s okay. The request
itself sets off a stream of compassion, a cleansing of your sys-
tem. Repeat the exercise once a day for at least a week. See if
your energy improves. I’ll bet you’ll feel a burden lift.
As part of forgiveness, take this reality check: People bring a
lifetime of wounds to your relationship, which may make their
behavior more about them than you. You might justifiably say,
as one of my patients did, “I’m hurt and furious my spouse left
me and refused to even talk about it. Isn’t it reasonable to want
that?” Naturally it is. But your need doesn’t take into considera-
tion your spouse’s terror of intimacy, or that he or she would do
anything to escape it in your relationship or any other. Unfortu-
nately, your spouse’s fears and inadequacies won out over your
needs. To find forgiveness while endeavoring to heal anger, you
must evaluate whom you’re dealing with, the good and the bad.
Often, people are just doing the best they can--which may not
amount to a hill of beans where you’re concerned, but it does
represent the sad truth of the situation. Accepting that truth of
someone’s limitations will help you to forgive.
Compassion opens a hidden door to a secret world that exists
beyond anger. Notwithstanding, the feelings of anger or for-
giveness aren’t mutually exclusive. You can simultaneously
experience varying degrees of both. Perhaps, at first, you’re a
little forgiving and a lot angry. But when you progress the scales
increasingly tip toward forgiveness as your attachment to anger
recedes.
