Okay, how is it term 4 already? The year is flying byand class 14 have been busy as always! We have beenlearning about the solar system and creating somegreat space themed artworks. Another favouriteclassroom activity is listening to stories. We have readlots of books about space, but our classroomfavourites are Thelma the Unicorn, How the Birds gottheir Colours and Piranhas don’t eat Bananas.

Over term 3 class 14 have been learning about roadsafety and how to cross a road. During the second halfof the term we have been going for a walk in our localcommunity every Thursday morning and work on ourcrossing skills along the way. We will continueworking on this skill over term 4 as it is something weall need to keep safe.

RFF with Laena! As usual, we are busy having fun and getting active in RFF sessions. We concluded our‘Wild West’ theme last term with a ‘Life Size’ board game, winding our way through the classroom and testing theknowledge and skills we acquired throughout the unit. This term, we’ve begun a whole new theme: ‘Shiver MeTimbers A Pirate Life for Me!’. Get ready for more laughs, more games, more moves and more silly activities. We’llbe raising the mast, practising our best buccaneering and some of us may even walk the plank! Be assured thatthere’ll be a treasure map and an exciting hunt for buried loot, before the year is out!
