Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it

Sedation Dentistry is a revolutionary way to accomplish your dentaltreatments without fear or anxiety. You dream…we work. SedationDentistry is often used during procedures that require an extensiveamount of time in the treatment chair, and sedation is ideal forpatients who exhibit dental phobia. Sedation Dentistry offersanxiety-free dental procedures as the patient is in a deeply relaxedstate. though fully responsive. It means something even moreimportant, a comfortable experience, so that little is felt orremembered from the dentistry procedure. When you awake, youare well rested, and your smile is healthier and more beautiful.

At New York'sKennedy airport todayan individual, laterdiscovered to be apublic school teacher, was arrested trying toboard a flight while inpossession of a ruler,a protractor, asquare, a slide rule, and a calculator.

The Attorney Generalbelieves the man is amember of thenotorious Al-gebramovement. He isbeing charged withcarrying weapons ofmath instruction.

"Al-gebra is a veryfearsome cult, indeed", the AttorneyGeneral said. "Theydesire averagesolutions by meansand extremes, andsometimes go off on atangent in a search ofabsolute value. Theyconsist of quiteshadowy figures, withnames like "x" and

"y", and, althoughthey are frequentlyreferred to as"unknowns", we knowthey really belong to acommon denominatorand are part of theaxis of medieval withcoordinates in everycountry.

"As the great Greekphilanderer Isoscelesused to say, there arethree sides to everytriangle." When askedto comment on thearrest, President Bushsaid, "If God hadwanted us to havebetter weapons of mathinstruction, He wouldhave given us morefingers and toes."

A guy goes to a girl's house for the first time, and sheshows him into the living room. She excuses herself togo to the kitchen to make them a few drinks, and as he'sstanding there alone, he notices a cute little vase on themantel. He picks it up, and as he's looking at it, shewalks back in.He says "What's this?"She says, "Oh, my father's ashes are in there."He says, "Jeez...oooh....I..."She says, "Yeah, he's too lazy to go to the kitchento get an ashtray."

Timing has an awful lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

I love spring time. It is a time when everything in the woods comes alive. All the trees areblooming and the grass is green. Everything that was dead through the winter has found newlife again. For me this time of year means that it is time to get on the water. I love to get inmy canoe and navigate the rivers and lakes fishing up and down the shores. It is easy to enjoyGod’s creation this time of year. The weather is perfect and the fish are biting. My boys and Ilove to camp and fish as much as we can and this time of year is perfect for teaching about thedifferent trees and plants because everything is in bloom and has found new life. God provideseverything we need just like He does for His creation. As outdoorsmen we harvest wild gameand catch fish to eat which is provision given by Him. These are blessings from Him. God has an awesome way of bringing new life in His creation but you can’t experience it unlessyou are out there in it. The spring time also provides a good opportunity to get friends and familyin the outdoors to learn and build your relationships with each other. There is nothing likespending time with my boys and watching them put into practice what I have taught them overthe years about the outdoors while also creating life time memories that we will never forget. God brings new life to you as well. Jesus said that He has come to give you life and give itmore abundantly. The bible says that when you accept Christ as Lord and Savior of your life thatyou are a new creation in Him. We need to pass this way of life down to our children and we alsoneed to pass down the way of salvation is through Christ. Looking to Him in order to have life andhave it more abundantly. Jesus died for you so that you can live for him. Take your kids out andenjoy this world that God has created but also teach them that as God has created new creationin the world around them that he can also create a new you! I’m TJ with Trails to God’s GreatOutdoors. I will see you on the trail.

PARTS & SERVICE

BoomerangBy: Wallace Kennedy, Jr.

A Boomerang is a bent orcurved piece of toughwood used by theAustralian Aborigines as athrowing club, one formof which can be thrown soas to return to the

thrower. In modern days other materials canbe used to fabricate one.

Today’s encouragement foryour spiritual enrichment:

Whatever in life that we giveaway comes back to us, somemay use the term of “reaping

what you sow.”

All through the Bible we see different verses ofScriptures that let us know; how we treatothers will impact how we are treated inreturn. Jesus said: Give and you will receive.Your gift will return to you in full—presseddown, shaken together to make room formore, running over, and poured into your lap.The amount you give will determine theamount you get back. Luke 6:38This is an old Principle of God that will neverchange. Genesis 8:22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summerand winter, and day and night shall not cease. In simple terms, if you sow something, therewill be a harvest for what was sown.Food for thought: If life was a Boomerang, wethrew it and it was covered with: love, joy, peace, kindness, grace, forgiveness, mercy(tolerance for others mistakes/longsuffering)temperance (self-control) faithfulness, gentleness (not easily angered) and such likethese. These are the same things that willcome back to us. See Galatians 5:22-23

Now, throw your Boomerang, check what it iscovered with because those are the lifeexperiences that will be returned to our lives.

Kidney stones are rock-like pieces that can form in theurinary system, usually in the kidney. They may bevery small or may grow to the size of a small pebble orlarger. Small kidney stones often leave the bodywithout a person even knowing about them, whilelarger stones may get stuck in one of the two ureters, causing pain and sometimes blocking urine flow.Anyone can get kidney stones, but they are mostcommon in men aged 20 to 60.Kidney stones are usually caused when water andwaste in the urine are out of balance. When this hap-pens, certain types of waste crystals separate fromthe urine. Instead of going out of the body in theurine, the crystals build up. Examples of these crystalsare uric acid, calcium, phosphate and oxalate. As thecrystals build up, they form clumps, or kidney stones.According to Dr. Juan Fernandez, Urologist at DaleMedical Center, you might be at higher risk of havingkidney stones if:

· You don't drink enough liquids(especially water) each day.

· You have urinary tract infections often.· You eat a certain type of diet. For example,

New Kitten 101

Congratulations on your new kitten! While youget to know each other, we want to provide youwith some information that will help make thetransition easier for you and your new familymember.

An ounce of prevention.•Immunizations: Your new kitten will need to visitthe veterinary clinic every 3-4 weeks duringkittenhood to build immunity through vaccination.•Frequent, regular fecal examinations anddeworming•Testing for Feline Leukemia Virus•Heartworm/Flea/Tick preventive•Identification tag/Microchip•Spay/Neuter your kitten•High quality diet formulated for kittens•Kitten-proof your home: remove toxins, electrical cords and heavy objects that could fallon your kitten.•Indoor cats live longer, healthier lives. If cats gooutdoors, they should be closely supervised at alltimes.•Handle your kitten’s mouth, feet and ears oftenso they learn to tolerate tooth brushing, nail trimsand ear cleanings.

Exercise and mental stimulation.Playtime with your kitten is great bonding timeand gives your kitten a chance to learn how theworld works. Offer toys that stimulate movement, such as fishing toys, balls and boxes. Toys thatemulate the wild nature of your kitten (e.g.: tallscratching posts, perches) help stimulate normalbehaviors and prevent unwanted behaviors. Usecaution with string and small objects for toys asthey can become stuck inside your cat’s body. Donot allow your kitten to play with electrical cords.

Grooming•Begin brushing your kitten’s teeth to ensuregood oral care•Regular nail trims•Brush the coat to prevent matting

Litter box. Kittens tend to naturally have goodlitter box habits. Litter boxes should be placed ina readily accessible location without stressfulnoises (e.g.: washing machines) nearby. To keepthose good habits, be sure to clean the box atleast once each day. By checking the litter box

daily, you will also be able to detect healthproblems sooner. We look forward to watching your kitten grow. Besure to call the clinic if you have any questions orconcerns about your new kitten. If a man does his best, what more can we ask from him?

Do you find yourselflooking at others your ownage and thinking, "Surely I

can't look that old?"

If so, you'll love this one!

I was sitting in the waitingroom of my new dentist. Itwas my first appointment. Inoticed his diploma on thewall, which had his full name.

Suddenly, I recalled a tall, dark haired, handsome boywith the same name hadbeen in my high school classnearly 50 years ago. Couldthis be the same boy I had asecret crush on, way backthen?

When I saw him, however, Iquickly discarded thatthought. This gray haired, balding man with the deeplywrinkled face was way too oldto have been my classmate.Hmmm! Or could he?

After he examined my teeth, Iasked him if he had attendedNorthampton High School.

"Yes, I did!" he said. "I'm aKonkrete Kid." He gleamedwith pride.

"What year did yougraduate?" I asked.

"In 1959," he said. "Why doyou ask?"

"I was in your class!" Iexclaimed.

He looked at me closely. Then, that ugly, wrinkled, old, fat, bald, gray, decrepit SOBasked, "What did you teach?"

Hello faithful readers,This month I'd like to start an idea for the nextseveral articles based on "tough decisions". Iwould really like for this thread of topics tostimulate you readers to send me a questionrelated to a tough dental decision you and yourdentist have had to make regarding your dentalhealth. I speak for my colleagues in saying thatthe toughest part about dentistry much of the timeis not so much doing the work, but decidingbetween several options for treatment. Whiletechnology has blessed us with some great newmaterials and techniques to use, it has also addedto the number of options for treatment. I'llsometimes confuse patients with more optionsthan they can comprehend at one time! I don'tmean to do that, but it is our obligation ascaregivers to give the options that are available tous. We'll dig right into that next month and pleaseconsider sending your "toughdecision" to me. The publisher and I will keep allquestions anonymous.

Bob had finally made it to the last round of the$50,000 Question. The night before the bigquestion, he told the host MC that he desired aquestion on American History. The big night arrived. Bob made his way onstagein front of the studio and TV audience. He hadbecome the talk of the week. He was the bestguest this show had ever seen. The MC steppedup to the mike."Bob, you have chosen American History as yourfinal question. You know that if you correctlyanswer this question, you will walk away $50,000dollars richer. Are you ready?"Bob nodded with a cocky confidence -- the crowdwent nuts. He hadn't missed a question all week.

"Bob, yours is a two-part question. As you know, you may answer either part first. As a rule, thesecond half of the question is always easier. Whichpart would you like to take a stab at first?"Bob was becoming more noticeably nervous. Hecouldn't believe it, but he was not sure, butAmerican History was his easiest subject, and heplayed it safe."I'll try the easier part first."The MC nodded approvingly. "Here we go Bob. Iwill ask you the second half first, then the firsthalf."The audience grew silent with gross anticipation..."Bob, here is your question: And in what year didit happen?"

Drunk in Saudi Arabia

An Englishman, a German and a Frenchman are all in Saudi Arabia, sharing a smuggled crate ofbooze when, all of a sudden, Saudi police rush in and arrest them. The mere possession of alcohol isa severe offence in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming thebooze, they are all sentenced to death! However, after many months and with the help of very good lawyers, they were able to successfullyappeal their sentences down to life imprisonment. By a stroke of luck, it was a Saudi nationalholiday the day their trial finished, and the extremely benevolent Sheikh decided they could bereleased after receiving just 20 lashes each of the whip.As they were preparing for their punishment, the Sheikh announced: "It's my first wife's birthdaytoday, and she has asked me to allow each of you one wish before your whipping. The German was first in line, he thought for a while and then said: "Please tie a pillow to my back. This was done, but the pillow only lasted 10 lashes before the whip went through. When thepunishment was done the German had to be carried away bleeding and crying with pain. The Frenchman was next up. After watching the German in horror he said smugly: "Please fix twopillows to my back." But even two pillows could only take 15 lashes before the whip went throughagain and the Frenchman was soon led away whimpering loudly. The Englishman was the last one up, but before he could say anything, the Sheikh turned to himand said: "You are from a most beautiful part of the world and your culture is one of the finest inthe world. For this, you may have two wishes!""Thank you, your Most Royal and Merciful highness," the Englishman replied. "In recognition of yourkindness, my first wish is that you give me not 20, but 100 lashes.""Not only are you an honorable, handsome and powerful man, you are also very brave," the Sheikhsaid with an admiring look on his face. "If 100 lashes is what you desire, then so be it. And yoursecond wish, what is it to be?" the Sheikh asked. The Englishman smiled and said, "Tie the Frenchman to my back."
