Last month’s resident trivia answer:It was Charlie and Sharon Pitcher who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 7th!

June is a lovely month and we have a lot of nice plans for all of our residents. Let’s kick off the start of summer with an Ice Cream social on June 21st! And if you just can’t get enough ice cream, the ice cream

truck will be out in fr ont of the clubhouse every Wednesday at 3pm for the month of June!

We hope you can join us for a special Father’s Day breakfast on June 21st for all the gentlemen of Eastwyck. Carols Place will be here cooking eggs anyway you like and we have a little surprise for all that attend. Be sure to sign up.

Looking ahead we have some wonderful off -site summer events! July 18th we are going to SPAC to see the New York City Ballet. On July 31st, we will see a live performance of Ragtime at the Mac-Haydn Theatre in Old Chatham. We are traveling back to SPAC on August 1st to enjoy a concert by The Philadelphia Orchestra.

Thanks to Mare Whipple for all you do to prepare our Karaoke performers! We appreciate all the time you put into the practices and we always enjoy the performances of our very talented residents!

June 7 at 2:00Cannabidiol (CBD) has been making a lot of headlines

as of late. CBD is extracted from the Cannabis plant

and has shown health benefi ts from the patients who

take the chemical as a supplement. This session will

review some of the health benefi ts of the supplement

and some of the risks involved with CBD oil. We will

also go over the diff erent preparations involved in

CBD. At the end, we will come

up with a preparation and a

game plan if we do choose to

include CBD to our regimen.

Every Thursday, we provide transportation to scheduled, routine medical appointments. This service is available between the hours of 8 AM and 1 PM. Call the offi ce for more details and to reserve you appointment time.

For the month of June, Carols Place Food Truck will be parked outside the Club-house. June 3 & 17 at 4:00. The truck will have hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, corn on the cob, cookies & brownies. For $10.95you may pay her when you pick up your dinner.

Every Friday the Eastwyck bus goes to three local grocery stores: ShopRite, Price Chopper and Hannaford. We will leave Eastwyck at 10:30am. The bus will pick you up at your building. Please sign up in the main offi ce.
