All Eyes on the Rose ParadeMillions of people will take part in the New Year’s

Day tradition of watching the Rose Parade. Broadcastlive from Pasadena, Calif., the event awes viewers withits elaborate floats. Many are engineering marvels, withpast entries featuring spectacles such as a working rollercoaster and a water slide. Even more amazing is thatevery inch of every float must be covered with flowersor other organic material such as leaves, seeds and bark.
