northern bay recedes and contains the main entrance. A single rectangular window withsegmental arched lintel fenestrates the first story at the southern bay. The second storyis fenestrated with two rectangular windOWS which possess stone lugsills. The gable areaterminating the bay features decorative fishscale shingles and is fenestrated with two,square windows. A coursed stone porch base extends across the east facade .

A large archembellished with radiating stone keystones fenestrates the central baycontains three rectangular windows which are surmounted by a gable witThe receding northern bay features a stone lintel above the doorway anwindow on the second story. An eyebrow dormer pierces the eyebrow dorroof slope.

This residence is one of a group of buildings on the west side ofGrand that were constructed of almost identical design, in the same year, and by the samebuilder. The residence was placed on the Kansas City Register on 9/13/79.
42 Further Description 01 Important Fealures The en trance shel tered by a hipped roois placed at the north end of the east facade. The bulk of the buildimass is comprised of a three sided projection on the east facade. Herwindow with semicircular transom is framed by a stone surround with rastone voussoirs. The 2nd story posesses a large double window withstone lintel and lugsill.
