HCM_LSO_CI_1: Course Program (new) Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package 2 (EA-HR 602), Business Function HCM, Learning Solution 01, the Course Program is available to you. You can use the Course Program to offer a flexible course offering to your employees that is tailored to their needs. This is available to them in the Learning Portal.

The Course Program is a special delivery method in the system that is qualified by its attributes. Course Program Blocks are grouped flexibly in the Course Program. Course types and curriculum types can be combined in a Course Program Block in any numbers of ways. A Course Program can consist of one or more Course Program Blocks.

You use the Course Program to make a course offering available to the learner that can be accessed in the Learning Portal. The course offering can contain a large amount of courses in various delivery methods. You can thus ensure that the most current courses are always available to the learner so that learners can always fulfill the requirements set by their task environment.

The learner searches for an appropriate course offering in the Learning Portal and selects the Course Program. The learner can subscribe to the Course Program and book the courses in the Course Program later or cancel them if necessary. The learner is guided through the Course Program by the system. The Course Program can be completed in a particular sequence and can also contain alternative course types and curriculum types.

Learners can selectively book all the courses contained in a Course Program as long as they are possible from a time perspective, whereas all courses contained in a curriculum that are possible from a time perspective are automatically booked.

HCM_ASR_CI_1: E-Recruiting Integration (Enhanced) Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package 2 (EA-HR 602), Business Function HCM, Administrative Services 01 (HCM_ASR_CI_1), the following additional functions are available for integrating HCM Processes and Forms with E-Recruiting:

o The SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure interface (XI interface) in HCM Processes and Forms comprises the new XI scenarios REHIREREQUEST and TRANSFERREQUEST. The interface also supports the following processes that are included as sample processes in the standard system:

- Rehire (Germany)

- Rehire (US)

- Transfer, Initiated by E-Recruiting (International)

o The XI interface now also initiates the new hire process when an external candidate with a personnel number with employment status 2 (Pensioner) is transferred from E-Recruiting.

o The system checks the consistency of the data transferred from E-Recruiting. If unexpected situations occur, an additional view is displayed for the HR Administrator in the portal.

Effects on Existing Data

In the step in which the HR Administrator previously selected only the suitable process in the portal, the system now displays an additional view if necessary. The system displays this view when, due to inconsistent data, the system cannot decide which request to select or which personnel number is affected and the HR Administrator must make this decision. The HR Administrator can determine the request type, and assign a different personnel number to the one suggested, if required.

Effects on Customizing

You make the Customizing settings for the XI interface in Customizing for HR Administrative Services and choose Form/Process Configuration -> XI Integration.

This IMG section was completely reworked as a redesign was performed for the XI integration Customizing tables. If, in SAP ERP 6.0, you made settings for XI integration, you can transfer the entries from the old Customizing tables, using report RPASR_XI_CUST_ADJUST_05, to the new tables. For more information, see SAP Note 976574.

See also

For more information about the XI interface, see SAP Library: SAP ERP Central Component -> Human Resources -> Personnel Management -> HR Administrative Services -> HCM Processes and Forms -> XI Content for HCM Processes and Forms.

For more information about sample processes, see SAP Library: SAP ERP Central Component -> Human Resources -> Personnel Management -> HR Administrative Services -> HCM Processes and Forms -> Sample Processes in HCM Processes and Forms.
