Observations & Recommendations based on Exhibitor’s Feedback:
The location of Indian Diamond Pavilion at AWE is recommended along with the Israel & Antwerp Pavilion to ease product segmentation for sourcing of buyers.
It is highly recommended to separate Gemstone and Diamond Indian Pavilions at AWE as the buyers for these products are completely different.
Location of India Pavilion at HKCEC is not uniform being a major concern of exhibitors at Jewellery section of India Pavilion. India Pavilion at HKCEC was distributed in Concourse of Hall 5E (Main Floor & Mezzanine) and Hall 5E. It is highly recommended to shift India Pavilion of Jewellery section in main Hall especially on third floor of HKCEC.
Stalls constructed under Loose Stones section must have white panels to enhance the effect of displayed products.
Credit Card Swipe facility to Buyers must be available especially on the same floor where India Pavilion is located.
Furniture of stalls in Loose Stones section had showcases made of fibre glass towards the visitor’s side of display.
Showcases should not be joint due to movement required in some of the stalls.
Many exhibitors found the furniture not in place as ordered which was later on rectified.
Back to Index
Most Important: Levelling of panels should be from floor and no gap should be there between panels and floor. Instances were found in Loose Stones section where the stones entered the neighbouring stall from the gap between panels and floor.
It is highly recommended that proper enlarged copies of Organizer’s master plan should be provided to the applicants before deciding participation at the India Pavilion. This plan should indicate stairs, escalators, pillars etc. with clear visibility.
Branding outside the panels of stalls should be allowed. Many exhibitors who create cabins and close their stalls should be allowed to put banners. This will create a better look compared to blank panels and will also provide uniformity and continuity of India Pavilion.
Observations & Recommendations based on Exhibitor’s Feedback:
