AGRICULTURE
Serbia has favorable natural conditions for the development of a variety of agricultural products: cereals, industrial plants, grapes, fruits and vegetables, seeds and planting material, medicinal herbs, and livestock.
Primary agricultural production enabled the development of food processing industry: confectionary, vegetable oils industry, sugar industry, breweries, juices production, vegetables processing industry, production of flour, meat, etc.
Priority objective of Serbian agriculture is to increase general level of competitiveness, finds new markets, adapt to rules and standards of the EU and WTO, conquers new know-how and technologies that will change the existing structure of agriculture and be ready to meet competition on local and international market.

Serbia is the only country, out of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which concluded the Free Trade Agreement with the Russian Federation. Goods of Serbian origin can be exported to the territory of the Russian Federation without paying customs duties (the Decree of the Customs Service of the Russian Federation as of 31 October 2011 N 2223).

Hibrid was founded in 1953. It has 3 Profit Centres:
• FRIGO- purchase, freezing, processing and export,• Seed production – production and sale of seed crops,• The Port Danube-Bogojevo – port services. Since June 2005, it has had the status of an international port.

ITN GROUP is a company established in 1992, with the aim to implement new technologies in food industry. The company consists of ITN AgroTech (agriculture machinery and engineering in agriculture), ITN FoodTech (production equipment, designing and engineering in the field of food industry) and ITN Eko Povlen Kosjeric (the factory for processing and packaging of IQF fruit and vegetables).

The current enterprise JUGPROM d.o.o., Leskovac ,started its business as a private auto-transport company, back in 1984, and its founder and owner is Mr. Slobodan Stojanović. The enterprise deals with transport, organization of buying up and cooperation with manufacturers of fresh fruit in the field.
Permanent rise of the enterprise result in 2005 by buying the 2 cold storage plants in Leskovac and Bela Crkva, with full equipment for fruit and vegetables freezing, capacity of 13,000 tons of simultaneous storing, which gives clear image of constant rise of the enterprise.
The enterprise JUGPROM d.o.o. Leskovac has been buying up and processing for several years 13,000 tons of various fruit, ensuring export of 13,000 tons of finished frozen products to the markets of the European Union and providing the foreign currency inflow up to € 20,000,000.
In the chain of food production and transport JUGPROM d.o.o. uses adequate integrated management quality system and FSSC 22000:2011 (ISO 22000 + PAS220) & Global GAP system, and processes fruit and vegetables in its sections.
The product range includes the following products:

MASTER FRUITS is involved in repurchase, freezing, processing, and export of berries and tropical fruits. The processing capacity is 20 t of fruit per day and the storage capacity is 4,000 t. MASTER FRUITS has implemented BRC (A level), IFS (Higher level), ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, KOSHER, GLOBAL GAP and BSCI standards. The products that we wish to place to the EU market are deep frozen raspberry (whole, whole and broken, crumble), blackberry, mix of red berries, blueberry, plum, strawberry, sour cherry, red/black currant, pineapple, papaya, mango, tropical mix and frozen fruit puree.
Our two dairy factories MASTER MILK and PK ZLATIBOR are fully automated. Milk processing is done in our own dairies with the daily capacity of 200,000 l. Medino is an ltd company based in the central part of Serbia, in the town of Krnjevo. We are one of the largest honey producers and exporters in South-East Europe. Our main activities are purchasing, processing and packing only 100% pure natural honey, with the annual production capacity of 4,000 metric tons of Acacia, Sunflower, Polyfloral, Meadow, Linden and Rape honey.
We export 90% of our production to the key markets in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Norway, Japan, USA, UAE, Qatar, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Belgium, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
