A LETTER FROM CAMP December 4th, 2015 Camp Director: Mrs. Cronce Assistant Camp Director: Mrs. Sorrell TAPE HIM TO THE WALL A very HUGE thank you goes out to our chaperones who were able to take us to the mall to cement our Social Studies lesson on SCARCITY. (See if your campers can sing the Scarcity Song to you. It’s sung to the tune of O, Christmas Tree. You may have to hum a few bars, lol.) We enjoyed ourselves and really learned a lot, but there’s nothing like being able to put that learning to work for others! An Informed Camper Is A Happy Camper! Homework (due Dec. 11th): > Transfer your 1 st draft Santa letter to 2 nd draft > Complete the ScootPad sessions assigned > Take an AR test on your library/classroom book Mark Your Calendar: Dec 8 th - PTO meeting at 6:0pm0 Child care provided! Dec 9 th - Scholastic book order due for on-time delivery 15 th - PTO-Sponsored Santa Shop (info sent home) Dec 18 th - 8:17- Polar Express Party 10:45- Christmas Sing-Along in Gym 11:48- ½ Day Dismissal PTO membership is $5 per person or $7 per family. (We love seeing grandparents signed up as well!) Our goal is to have 200 members. We're currently at 89 - and that's a great start, but here's the challenge - If we hit 200 members by 12/18, Principal Collins will let the kids duct tape him to the wall! SIGN UP TODAY! ALL ABOARD Shhh…On Friday, the 18 th , we will have a Polar Express Party. We’ll wear our pajamas and become passengers of the train car as we watch the movie together. If you can help out, please let me know. Items needed are listed on the protopage. www.protopage.com/campcronce I’m just telling the kids it’s a jammie party, so shhh… let’s keep the magic a surprise!
