Teachers & trained adult volunteers provide a safe escort Students arrive at school focused and ready to learn Enjoy a quick & convenient drop off –no waiting in a long
line A pattern of daily exercise leads to better academic
performance
The basics:
WSB program operates for the entire school year Drop off: 7:05-7:20 am on School Street- behind Fairhope
Public Library- cars pull up to cones on School Street Children to complete “attendance check in” as soon as they
arrive Children play (within boundaries) in grassy field before WSB
begins each morning- “recess before school” You may walk with your children or use the car line drop off on
School Street WSB leaves promptly at 7:20 am- students are in time for
breakfast Your child may walk every day or on select days. However,
regular attendance is preferred We walk on rainy days if there is no lightening-rain gear
required
