    Gif in Memory o Chappy Continues His Work Te Glasgow High School Educationalrust is honored to announce a donationo $10,000 in memory o Aaron DanneChappy Chatten. In making the gif, Lacey ChattenCopenhaver said it included memorials givenin Aarons name as well as proceeds rom theAaron Chappy Chatten Memorial Sofballournament, which has been held each Julyor the past our summers. Aarons passion was community service,Copenhaver added, and the GHS rustmemorial will help others or a long time.

    A 2002 graduate o Glasgow High School,

    Aaron continued his education at Te ArtInstitute o Seattle or one year and DickinsonState University or two years. He completedthe requirements or an Associate Degree inApplied Science in Power Plant echnologyrom Bismarck State College in 2006 whileworking or the U. S. Army Corps o Engineersin Fort Peck. Tis degree enabled him tobecome a power plant shif operator at the FortPeck Power House Facility, a job he loved andperormed with exceptional competence.

    Veterans Day Program yesterday at the Glasgow Civic Center.

    Despite unusually cold weather with wind chills well below zero,

    the event was very well attended; the bleachers on the north side

    of the gym (not in the photo) were nearly packed. The weathe

    may have been miserable, but what a wonderful day in support o

    our Veterans which included free breakfast by the GHS Studen

    Council and Albertsons, and a free movie at Valley Cinemas.

    raise funds for the much-needed addition to the Milk River

    Activity Center. The radio studio is a hopping place with

    phones ringing off the hook in its support. On the phone is

    Deb Cornwell getting some help from Jen Franzen. Behind

    Jen is Mark Wethern and theres Paula Terry who was se

    to do an interview on the radio. Oh, and lets not forget Elvi

    back there. If you were unable to make a pledge today and

    would like to do so, the Milk River Activity Center takes

    donations year-round.
