2. Click Sign Up to enter your information and Save **Note: Please remember to check the box ‘Receive Text Messages’ in order to receive NEOnet texts.

3. You will be sent an email link to verify their e-mail account 4. Next to Looking for other groups to join? Click the Search button 5. Type NEONET in the Organization box and click the Search button 6. After NEOnet appears click the Join button 7. You can add more emails and phone numbers by clicking the Add button

under: Want to add additional phone numbers or email addresses? 8. If you checks the box to receive text messages, you will also be sent a text

Helpdesk - accessing

• Go to the NEOnet website• Click SUPPORT along the top

Logging in

• The system uses NEOnet's active directory system to know who you are and what district you are coming from

• User Name = neonetda\ (Same user name as Email, Progress Book, DASL or USASDW) Example = neonetda\ne_mjackson

• Note the slash that follows NEONETDA is the one that leans to the left (above the Enter key)

• Password = Same password as Email, Progress Book, DASL or USASDW

Email updates• NEOnet responses will be done in the

helpdesk system• The email address they come from is

OECN Support (support@oecn.org)

• You can reply to the email from OECN Support and your reply will be– Sent to NEOnet staff– Inserted into the ticket

• Do not send email to OECN support to create a ticket

INFOhio electronic resources and mobile devices

World of Learning and iOS8• Early World is not currently working on Apple devices with IOS 8.

World Book has INFOhio that they are working on fixing the problem. The resource does work on Apple devices that have not been upgraded to IOS 8.

EBSCO products• EBSCO pdf articles sometime do not load completely on a variety

of mobile devices. Sometimes the second page is cut off, sometimes just the citation. EBSCO has notified INFOhio that this is a high priority item and they are working to get it fixed. A quick workaround is to use the option to email the file to yourself.

• Storia is in the process of creating logins for every Ohio school building that has 4th grade students

1. Teacher completes Surveymonkey to get access codes for their building

2. Teacher logs into Storia and creates class list.3. Teacher assigns books to individual students,

student groups, or the whole class.4. Teacher gives each student a un/pw (created

automatically and formatted to print).5. Students login and start reading!

Tech Skills for online testing

• At our last meeting we looked at the INFOhio PearlTree of Online Tech Skills for Online Testing

• Heard back from many of you that you could not access PearlTree or the sites because they were blocked by web filter

• INFOhio put together document that lists the web-based resources, excluding INFOhio resources, that are included on the INFOhio Tech Skills for Online Testing PearlTree
