Pledge of Allegiance was led by Lion Richard Klein. Songbirds Lion Aldo Navone, Secretary Sam Fonzi, P.P. Stephan Moore and President Jeffrey Beebe led us in the singing of God Bless America. Invocation was given by Lion Joseph Larranaga, J r. DINNER: T onight’s dinner was in kee ping with the tradition. Sausage & hot dogs & buns, sauerkraut, potato salad, beans and all the x in’s : ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, onions and relish. Dessert was a brownie and ice cream. Those dogs were BI G! ! They would t in TWO buns end to e nd. Our thanks to the cooks  – Lion Bill Renfr o and P.P. Tom Solari, C.O.D. Chairman and crew. PROGRAM: President Jeff has not had a good year. He has proven incapable of maintaining possession of his podium, the bell, his gavel and even his notes for the evening. While he was directing everyone to get in the food line, his podium just up and walked outside by itself. Jeff squawked about the theft and P.P. Steve Moore was admonished for allowing this to happen under his nose.Whentheinvestigatingofcer arrived, he was directed to the R.P. (Beebe) who then proceeded to complain about the Sheriff being a witness to a crime and not doing anything about it. (Who called?) During the extended inte rvie w with the in ve st ig atin g of c er , Beebe started protesting and claiming “I’mtheVICTIM”.Whenaskedifhe wantedtoleacomplainthesaid no. ?? What was all the squawking about?? However, I do have a suggestion. NexttimeTAZEthethief.Itwould be funny watching him wiggle. In fact, maybe we can make a program out of it. President Jeff turned the microphone over to PDG Chuck Leach who was given the honor of inducting in three new members. New members and sponsors were called up to the front. Oops! I almost said podium. Chris Herrera – sponsor Lion Randy Viglienzone Eric Johnson sponsor Glen Bockmon Paul Wagner – sponsor Roland Davis. Chuck gave a brief history of Lionism and their responsibilities in the club. Each was sworn in and presented with their membership package. They were then given an opportunity to tell us about themselves. Their sponsors placed their pins on their lapels. Chris, Eric and Paul – welcome to the Linden Lions Club. And of course – looking for reasonstonememberswaseasy. Peters & Col omb ini were ne d for campaign signs. Treasurer Alan Genetti was ne d for not sit ting at the head table. DINNER:Tonight’s dinner was in keeping

with the tradition. Sausage & hotdogs & buns, sauerkraut, potatosalad, beans and all the xin’s :ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, onionsand relish. Dessert was a brownie
