Minutes from the November 11, 2009 Meeting Vice President Joe Stanton called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m., welcoming everyone. One new member - Jim Cunningham from Newbury - Welcome! Update on Ruth Rosencrantz and Bill Humes - Ruth had her first chemo treatment last Friday and Friday night and Saturday she seemed fine. However, the last couple of days have been hard. Bill is holding his own and will be having more tests. Hopefully he'll make the Christmas party. Best to both of them. Minutes - from the October 14th meeting were reviewed by our wonderful FFA Girls, Paige and Danielle. Motion & 2nd to accept the minutes - voted on unanimously. Treasurer’s Report was presented by our FFA girls and reviewed in detail. To date there is $4,254.37 in the checkbook. Also the Deerfield Fair is forthcoming as of this meeting. Motion & 2nd to accept - voted on unanimously.

Committee Reports Christmas Party - Russ Levesque -There is going to be a DJ this year who will be playing mostly country with some other genres mixed in. We will be having the same food on the buffet as last year. Also, there will be a modified Yankee Swap, i.e. everyone purchases a Female gift and a Male gift - limit $10. Everyone who is participating will get a ticket and will then choose their gifts. There will also be tickets given out in order to win all of the woodworking items that were made by some members of the Club. Thanks to Marty & Ann Humes for the use of their house/woodworking facilities. Dave Tilton made a motion to give Marty $200 for letting us use his tools to make the gifts for the Christmas Party. Elections - Ballots were handed out for everyone to vote. Joe Stanton announced that Bill Humes has already voted and has given Joe a sealed ballot. Joe asked if everyone approved of accepting Bill's vote. All agreed. Kyle Ware and Rita Carr will be our ballot counters tonight. The meeting will continue while ballots are being counted.
