About Anand Pharmacy College (APC)ANAND PHARMACY COLLEGE is one of the leading institute of Gujarat established in 1998 by Shri
Ramkrishna Seva Mandal. The institute is conducting All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE), New Delhi approved courses since 1998. Anand Pharmacy College offers B.Pharm,
M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Industrial
Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Technology and Ph.D. courses. The institute is re-accredited by NAAC-
UGC (Grade A with CGPA 3.06) and accredited by NBA (UG Course). The institute regularly invites
learned and eminent entrepreneurs, academicians, industrialists and dignitaries to deliver
lectures and create an environment of enthusiasm and zeal among students and staff members
for educational excellence.
PreambleInnovation is the key for every economy to
grow, and innovation takes place at every layer
of the society. Government of India has
declared 2010-2020 as the decade of
Innovation to unleash the creative potential of
every Indian. To promote startup and imbibe
innovation in growing minds is the key goal of
startup India through various universities.
Gujarat has witnessed huge industrial growth in
last decade and hence it is imperative need to
have robust system to support student
innovation. To achieve this, the Conference
aims following objectives i.e.
• To build a culture that promotes innovation &
creativity
• To encourage students to choose
entrepreneurship as their career
• To provide platform for student’s
innovations and make it nationwide
• To inculcate social responsive behaviors
among students aspiring to launch start-ups
• To orient students as to how they can
conceptualize social business start-ups that
will address social issues
• To equip students with the necessary skills
for managing their business enterprise

India.
About Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP)The Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP) of Government of Gujarat is a first-of-its-kind, an
integrated, state-wide university-based innovation policy in the country launched in January 2017.
It shall create a much-needed Innovation and Pre-incubation Ecosystem Support for Students
(IPIES) across the state, adding to the start-up ecosystem of Gujarat and creating a strong
innovation driven culture in the state’s higher education spectrum. SSIP aims to create a network
supporting innovations and ideas of young students by building pre-incubation processes of the
state higher education, thereby providing a conducive environment for optimum harnessing of
their creative pursuit.
