Mountain of Blessings for July School Supplies

Needs are: crayons, notebooks, folders, pencils, glue & glue sticks, markers, pens, paper, etc. Also, there is a special emphasis for school uniforms. Heather Saunders will be accepting money donations for the uniform drive. Please see her. You will now find a maintenance log on the

welcome center. When you become aware of a building or maintenance issue that the properties committee needs to be aware of, you are encour-aged to enter that issue in the log. The log will be checked on a regular basis so all concerns can be given priority and dealt with. It will be helpful if you will allow this log to be the way you express concerns. You may also leave messages at [email protected]

There will be a brief feed-back meeting today at 12:15 pm in Garrison Hall for everyone interested in discussing the successes and challenges of our VBS.

Cards for our military personnel that are redeemable for a free Wednesday night dinner are available at the Welcome Center. Feel free to take some cards and share them with our military. This effort is one way for us to say thank you to them. Earlier this year Fielding led a large group through a study on personal evangelism. During evening worship tonight and Sunday, August 6, Dr. Steve will lead two sessions on personal evangelism inspired by Leonard Sweet’s book, “Nudge”.

You are invited to a reception for Josh Mitchell and Cassie Miller

Sunday, August 13 after the 10:55 am service

in Garrison Hall to celebrate their upcoming wedding.

Lunch will be served. They are registered at Macy’s
