MEBA DISASTER RELIEF

If you would like to help our local Associational Disaster Relief team, please send your donations payable to MEBA and mail to 4950 Old Collins-ville Rd., Swansea, IL 62226. Write Disaster Relief in the Memo line. Dennis Felix of FBC, Waterloo is now heading up the Disaster Relief and the trailer is housed there instead of here at the office to make it more convenient for the team, in case you have wondered why the trailer is not in our parking lot.

The donuts and coffee preparation on Sunday morning will be on a rotation. There is a need for two more people to sign up. If you can help, see Pam Knefelkamp.

Dan Holderfield will be leading a study on Islam during the Sunday evening worship hour today. Having had recent extensive training on the subject, Dan will help us understand this religion as a step toward our understanding and relating to the Muslim community.

You are invited to the wedding of Beverly Pace and Jim Houpt on Saturday, October 7, at 11 am. There will be a reception following in Garrison Hall. Chicken will be provided, you are asked to bring a dish for the pot luck reception. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board to rsvp for the wedding and write down the dish you are bringing. You can also rsvp to Miriam Golden or Jim Houpt. No gifts please.
