Welcome to First Baptist Church! We welcome those who may be at First Baptist for the first time. We trust that you will find us friendly. More importantly, we pray that God would use this worship time to draw you closer to Him. We would also encourage you to try one of our small-group Sunday School classes. You can find infor-mation about these classes and lots of other news about First Baptist at our Information Center. We also have a gift for first time guests at our Information Center.

Thursday, May 1, is the annual National Day of Prayer. We will host a lunch prayer gathering in our gym at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Joe McKeever, retired pastor, author and friend of so many, will be our guest speaker and leader of the prayer time. In addition to this luncheon for all to attend, we will have a Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. at the Piccadilly on John-ston Street. Men, you need a ticket for this gathering so that we can coordinate the number with Picca-dilly. I think you will agree with me that we need to be in constant prayer for our nation. Join us this Thursday as we join with thou-sands of other believers across our country to pray for our nation.

On Wednesday, April 30, we are following a different schedule. We will have a time of fellowship at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Annual Orchestra Concert at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Joe McKeever will be the narrator for the Orchestra Concert.

Our Scripture of study this morn-ing is Ezekiel 37—a very familiar passage of the Old Testament. I look forward to sharing this mes-sage with you.

From Our Pastor Thank You For Coming If you are our guest, we have a special gift for you after today’s service. So that we can get to know you better, please fill out both sides of this tear-off section and bring it to the Information Center near the col-umns. We have a gift bag ready for you.
